Such objections will have to be in writing and signed by at least one Senator and one Representative. The Senator and Representative signing the objection do not even have to be from the state in question. Objections to Electoral Votes can either be against one Vote at a time, or for an entire state.”
Where, pray tell, is this allowed by the Constitution?
I’m sure this is federal law. However, federal law that is not pursuant to the Constitution is NOT the law of the land and is invalid (Art VI, Cl 2).
Wonder what is the historical genesis (genius?) of this law.
