In the extensive report on the massive Russian-backed operation to hack American political and government severs—including a successful hack of the Democratic National Committee's server—the paper reveals that President Barack Obama had been "briefed regularly" on Russia's effort to target servers at the State Department, the White House, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Here's the Times:
Mr. Obama was briefed regularly on all this, but he made a decision that many in the White House now regret: He did not name Russians publicly, or issue sanctions. There was always a reason: fear of escalating a cyberwar, and concern that the United States needed Russia's cooperation in negotiations over Syria.
"We'd have all these circular meetings," one senior State Department official said, "in which everyone agreed you had to push back at the Russians and push back hard. But it didn't happen."
So the Russians escalated again — breaking into systems not just for espionage, but to publish or broadcast what they found, known as "doxing" in the cyberworld.
It was a brazen change in tactics, moving the Russians from espionage to influence operations. In February, 2014 they broadcast an intercepted phone call between Victoria Nuland, the assistant secretary of state who handles Russian affairs and has a contentious relationship with Mr. Putin, and Geoffrey Pyatt, the United States ambassador to Ukraine. Ms. Nuland was heard describing a little-known American effort to broker a deal in Ukraine, then in political turmoil.

Interesting. But the fact of the matter is, the Democrats in their lust for overturning the elections have screwed themselves. First Assange published a serious of emails from the DNC. The “Russian” accusation was first made there with no evidence. Assange eluded to the leaker being an insider. The emails should the racism, the hate and the lies within the DNC. 10 Democrat officials have resigned now over these including the DNC head. Then the vote fomes and Trump wins. Then Stein because a servant of the DNC and files recounts for 3 states. In that recount it’s discovered a massive voter fraud committed by the Democrats in Detroit. Suddenly the “Russian Connection” and an unnamed anonymous unknown CIA official with no report leaks fake information to the WaPo, and the fake article runs as a distraction to the massive voter fraud in Detroit. Then the conspiracy of the Elector Defector fake news comes out. All this to hide the voter fraud in Detroit. Now a WH investigation story? How far will the Democrats and the MSM go to hide this voter fraud in Detroit? Are they afraid of a national recount that will show massive voter fraud by the Democrats nationwide? I have never seen such panic by any party.

Maybe he didn't but his Iranian born special assistant and Satanic mentor did a hell of a number on America. I'd hate to see how bad it would've been if he had been more involved. One thing is certain. It will be a long time before I ever trust any of the words of a president, if ever again. I've never seen such an accomplished liar. He feels no guilt or remorse whatsoever; a true sociopath and pathological liar.
