Makes perfect sense. They had numerous meetings about how to propagate the lie that Russia had hacked America, and use that to explain Trump’s imminent win. Each time the subject of taking overt action against Russia to give the scam more credibility, they concluded it would not be worth doing, because the bear, he bite.
