Some threads not working here as well - including this one (which is on and off). I posted this already - but it didn’t stick. A self-search on comments also comes back with an error message.
I just posted my Amy’s opening on the wrong thread...I made this mistake...I am getting refresh messages often.

Update.
There’s still something wrong. I just went to respond to a thread (using Safari on a Mac) and got a white screen. I cut and pasted the thread’s link into Chrome, and it let me reply. I tried this again with the same results.
I just tried to post this and got:
“The freerepublic.com page isn’t working
freerepublic.com is currently unable to handle this request.”
I’m still having problems...”web site page can’t be found” popping up all the time. I’ve tried to post to this thread twice, no luck, hope I’m third time lucky.

I’m getting the white screen a lot as well. Pretty much every time I click reply. Also Post. Clicking refresh on the browser makes it go through.
Pages are slow loading in general.

Naw, turns out I just needed Dyn-O-Vite. I’m getting my pep back, and my coat looks fantastic!
I was gone all day at a wedding out of town yesterday so I only saw FR not working once. But today it’s back, yay, but after each thread click or when I posed just now I too got a white blank screen. Luckily afterward my post did not disappear though.
That's good to know since I am too.........I've got a new computer that is taking me a long time to figure out.
In fact, I still can't receive emails and those I send out do not go into the sent items folder.......
Fortunately I still have my old computer where I can still receive the emails......
Yes, I’ve noticed that it’s a bit sluggish and sometimes takes a second click to load a page. I suspect a little tuning will be needed.

Did you get a new server or one of Illiarly’s scrubbed clean used one?
Fixed with a band-aid, have some trivial DB tuning to do (# concurrent connections, etc.) Not sure why I didn’t record those changes to config files previously.
John, do we need a special FReepthon for new equipment or software? I’m still pushing for a $100 vanity tax.
Nah, we’re good. Vanity Tax is interesting though! :p
