Donald Trump is taking advice from President Obama about his cabinet appointments, the president-elect revealed on Wednesday.
“We have a really good chemistry together. I really like him as a person,” Trump told NBC’s Matt Lauer on the “Today” show.
Asked if he talked to the president about possible appointments, Trump responded: “I have asked him what he would think of this one and that one. We have a very good dialogue.”
He continued to kvell: “I do like him. I love getting his ideas. I take his recommendations very seriously. There are some people I will be appointing and I have appointed that he thought very highly of that person.”
Trump wouldn’t reveal more details — or which specific appointments have been discussed.
But the president-elect said to expects his secretary of state appointment to come next week.

It’s kind of what I do on Sunday mornings. I call my friend and ask him who he likes in that days football games. When he tells me who he likes to win I bet the opposite. Make money almost every Sunday.
This doesn’t upset me at all. Trump is now an initiate in the rarefied “presidents club.” In some respects there are only a handful of men on earth who can give him the input he needs. He would be a fool to ignore any of them. And he’s no fool.

Exactly. Trump is GOING to be President. There's no gain at all in pissing off Obama. In fact there's a chance to lose leverage if he does that.
I listened to what trump had to say at Fayetteville last night. sounded like a complete rejection of every position Obama took during his time in office.
