Therefore, Trump's discussion with Tsai has been seen by some as a breach of protocol, but Bolton disagreed:
"Nobody in Beijing gets to dictate who we talk to. It's ridiculous to think that the phone call upsets decades of anything."
He noted Taiwan, with a population of 20 million, has a democratic government, a free press and a free-market economic system.

BTW, this guy is not Dead Cruz, or anything remotely like him.
Nrx - Bolton never dragged anyone into anything. He did a helluva job at the UN, though.
It’s the mustache...that thing has MOJO all of its own.
He’s in
——a breach of protocol-—
Tromp is playing TEGWAR..... the exciting game without any rules
Others are having a problem because they don’t know how to play
Yeah Trump always had the knack for nicknames, so he should start doing positive ones for his cabinet
On Red Eye they called him “The Ambassador”. Greg gutfeld said, “we call him that because his doctors asked us to” and Bolton laughed, before he would weigh in wisely on events of the day always ready to stop for a laugh
It was back when gutfeld dealt in funny, advising that that was the way to win over the left
Ironic how stale, bitter and angry he has become
He has a laugh track on his talk show. It’s supposed to be campy but it’s just pathetic
Bolton is a great character. I think trump is looking for a strong person but who will allow Trump to be the boss
You mean John “General Mathis” Bolton?
No Kidding!
I like John "No Quarter" Bolton.
Trump was the recipient of the call.
John “The Broom” Bolton.
I’ve known other guys with that type of mustache called “the broom” because the mustache resembles a broom. The concept of sweeping has some good associations with clearing out, cleaning up, fumigating, draining the swamp.
And, even a bit of alliteration with the b in Bolton (Mad dog Mattis)
"Butt-Kickin' Bolton"
He strikes me as a warmonger. He gives off the, “all wars are good”, vibe of a John McCain. I hear good things about him but usually when I hear him talk he’s advocating militarism. I don’t mind being tough, talking tough but he really doesn’t seem like a diplomat to me. Why am I wrong? I have given in some thought and he seems like he, unlike Romney, would serve Trump. That being the case, being tough and ready for battle may be a positive so that Trump has his voice and the he can take hard positions. I’ve been listening to him with a little bit more of an open mind lately but I’m certainly not sold on him.
The adults are back in charge (will be soon, that is). I’m so relieved!
Why didn’t you copy all in your post on this thread?
The best of all nicknames was Bush’s for Rove: Turd Blossom. Perfect.
Grade 8 Bolton.
He is probably the only person left from the Bush administration that I would want to ever see involved with Trump’s administration.
I did LOL at RedEye! You are correct. Greg used to be a funny sob!
:)
