He strikes me as a warmonger. He gives off the, “all wars are good”, vibe of a John McCain. I hear good things about him but usually when I hear him talk he’s advocating militarism. I don’t mind being tough, talking tough but he really doesn’t seem like a diplomat to me. Why am I wrong? I have given in some thought and he seems like he, unlike Romney, would serve Trump. That being the case, being tough and ready for battle may be a positive so that Trump has his voice and the he can take hard positions. I’ve been listening to him with a little bit more of an open mind lately but I’m certainly not sold on him.

I wonder if his shtick is peace through strength. Project toughness, strength, the ‘don't mess with us’ to avoid conflicts. Reminds me of the big banner at the entrance to Fairchild AFB in 76' that read, "Peace is our Profession." Was a B-52 base at the time.

Anyway, Bolton certainly comes across as having the interpersonal one on one skills to ‘present our case’ as it were. He always looks serious but has a sense of humor.

He strikes me as a 'Trump kind of guy', the kind he would respect.

Bolton talks tough, but when it was his time to walk the walk he said he didn’t want to die in a rice paddy. There are plenty out there who talk the talk and have and will continue to walk the walk. TRUMP NEEDS TO FIND THEM.
