HARRISBURG, Pa. Green Party-backed voters dropped a court case Saturday night that had sought to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvanias Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, in what Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein had framed as an effort to explore whether voting machines and systems had been hacked and the election result manipulated.
But later Saturday night, the party announced itll go to federal court instead. A statement from the lead lawyer for the recount campaign says itll seek an emergency federal court order for the recount. It says barriers to a recount in Pennsylvania are pervasive and the state court system isnt equipped to address them.

Why don’t they take it to the UN?
This will not go anywhere, the federal courts won’t get involved in state election matters until all state court options have been exhausted, you can’t just drop a case in state court and move it to federal court (well you CAN but it will quickly be tossed and you will be told to go back to state court).
Team Clinton is obviously behind this. It would be fun to force her into the open with this with a no standing decision. Perhaps DJT would rethink his position on appointing a special prosecutor if he sees her openly attempting to undermine his presidency and American Democracy. I think that was probably BS anyways though. Hillary is gonna face the music yet.
Dear Ms. Stein,
A cursory review of the records demonstrates conclusively that you did not win the General Election in Pennsylvania on November 8, 2016.

Thank you, etc...
Just read a post on Twitter, so consider the source, that the 22,000 provisional votes they counted for Hillary are “extremely suspect” so they decided to drop the recount because it was showing fraud on the Clinton side. They know it won’t go anywhere with the Feds so the fraud won’t be exposed while making it look like she did all she could do. She pockets the rest of the money.
...”Looks like CLINTON and SOROS want a shooting war - no other outcome if they get their way in freezing 200+ years of American presidential elections. Elevating CLINTON as the winner somehow? This is an insane thought that would only result in full-scale Civil War; or maybe the objective is to leave OBAMA in office by default if the election is nullified?”...
I heard someone say before the election that the Globalist criminals will find a way to try to leave the left in power. Of course, we all expected that they would steal the election outright through the votes of illegals. In our wildest dreams we could not have thought this up. Maybe they want a shooting war. Who knows, at this point?
Why do you say that? They seem to be Trump supporters who are just stating facts, whether we like them or not.
I agree with you completely, apillar. I’m not even sure the federal courts have jurisdiction over what is clearly a matter reserved to the States under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution.
Listen, you can say I am full of it all day but what I said is fact and it works this way in every vote count in every State.
had the number of votes either provisional or absentee been equal to or more than the difference between the candidates in total votes rec’d, all those ballots would have been counted BEFORE the race was called by AP.
Believe it or don’t but that is simply how it is.
Must be running out of money and wants the feds to pick up the cost.
so they think they can get a federal judge to challenge a states sovereignty to govern their election process - good luck with that
Must seem like a win win to the loser globaLists. Success...with enough federal meddling (with intervening time, even more manufactured votes for the witch come to light)...the witch is in.
The conflict of conscience begins, the fed declares martial law, the election is vacated, and zippy the $#!t-head doesn’t leave....win
This is a fundamental-transformation hypothetical nightmare...or is it
KYPD
Or maybe this is the best-case scenario, because people would finally realize that a U.S. Supreme Court decision can be no more effective than a restraining order.
Her legal challenge should read, “We’re filing because our imagination says something wrong may have happened.”
Reminds me of ‘frivolous’ lawsuits.
These recounts are a huge waste of money and time. If they were serious about checking for fraud they would encourage voter ID.
I think it’s another stall tactic to buy more time because they are running out of options. They may find even more Democrat voting fraud doing the recounts. I think Stein may have figured this out and is trying to buy time to find another way o keep her name in the news while pretending to work for Hillary.
I knew something was fishy last night when she dropped her filing, now the MORON in chief is involved.
So, she is going to tell a federal judge that she raised over 6 million dollars but she can’t afford to pay the $1 million bond? Furthermore, she’s going to explain that she didn’t have her stuff together enough to meet the recount request deadline of Nov. 21, so now she has the right to contest a statewide election where the winner won by 50k votes? This is all so stupid. At this point, I’m thinking she’s only filing in federal court to be able to say she did all she could. This thing can’t even get started in time to finish by Dec. 13 at this point. So, she can claim that she did all she could. She gets to keep the $1 million bond money, and she won’t have to pay anymore additional toward a recount in PA.
I believe the problem for Stein in PA is that one check for George Soros for one million is not allowed, many checks from bi-coastal folks are not allowed—the money has to come from actual residents of the actual precincts where Stein wants to recount.
She could have made this happen if she had begun work in PA right after election day, but because she is lazy and stupid she wants the federal court to clean up her mess for her.
