A rapidly aging white population and fast-growing younger minority groups are speeding demographic changes across the nation, hastening a political divide likely to have long-term ramifications.
The percentage of the U.S. population that is white has decreased from 79.6 percent in 1980 to 61.9 percent in 2014. The percentage of Latino-Americans has increased from 6.4 percent to 17.3 percent over the same time period, while both the African-American and Asian-American populations have grown, too.
There are growing signs that the rate of change is increasing. The number of non-Hispanic whites who died in 2014 outpaced the number of white births in 17 states, according to a new analysis from the University of New Hampshire. Thats the largest number of states to experience a natural decrease in the white population in American history.

Try living in Hazleton, PA. An almost lily white place during my 1980s childhood, the population has become about half hispanic since 2000. The total population number is about the same, but about 10,000 non-hispanics are gone, replaced by 10,000 hispanics.
You also have to look at the turn-out of those groups. I’m pretty sure black turn-out was down. Those percentages could either be winning or losing percentages for Trump, depending on the turn-out numbers of each group.
That must be it. Problem is hispanic is used to refer to anyone who has an origin in a Spanish-speaking country, I believe. It has nothing to do with race. I’m not clear on how a grandchild of a Mexican immigrant who didn’t speak Spanish would be classified. And I assume someone of Irish descent who learned how to speak Spanish would NOT be Hispanic?
If “Hispanic” has any useful meaning, it must mean a connection to the Spanish language, either as a native speaker or as the near-descendant of native speakers. Native speakers of Spanish include Europeans, blacks, American natives, Asians, and Middle Easterners.
Using “Hispanic” as a “race” is as dumb as saying “Moslem” or “illegal immigrant” is a “race.”
And no, a person who learns Spanish does not become “Hispanic” by that fact :-).
It would be so much better if we could all just be “human race.”
Should the US not return to reason, not slough off social justice nostrums, an historian in the 22nd century will write how the world was far better off before the demise of WASPs. Like individuals, no society has the right to suicide, and that’s exactly what the ‘right’ to abortion guarantees.
Then you missed out on the reason for living. If you had a medical problem then I’m sorry for you if you simply chose not to have kids you couldn’t have made a worse decision.
They are, and I agree. We have 2 daughters. Both are intelligent, conservative and they like boys. The 3 keys to success in my opinion.
Reaping the whirlwind of abortion on demand. I never met a business owner — except the abortion industry lead by Planned Parenthood — that was willing to kill its future customers. Kill a female baby and there are no more generations from her forever.
“A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope.” Saint John Paul II”
I live in Bakersfield. Same story. Blah.
Harvard scientist Robert Putnam found that diversity hurts civic life, reduces social trust, pushes tribalism / grouping when the minorities are large enough to form their own enclaves.

they may not (publically) celebrate it, but with abortion they actively work for it.

I’ve got five kids but if someone had told me around the campfire or duck camp in 72 while I’m popping open a Jax beer or Boones Farm and drinking bong water from a bamboo bong and listening to Black Sabbath or Zep that one day I’d be with just one girl like forever and have five kids and none quasi dependents id said here you drink the bong water
Life just comes at ya and you better get ready
Gonna have to care for and bury your folks etc
That one hurts
In my extended family of one sibling and 9 cousins
Four have no children
One is a libtard judge in SF
One a pro photographer in Winston Salem but they tried hard
Tragically lost a few miscarrying
They started too late but would a made fine parents
Another is a left leaning libertarian teacher artist in Jaxville
Too self absorbed
Another is a couch tater Spicoli with a trust fund but manages to do right when demanded
My aunt and uncle in Texas are childless and old
They didn’t want to deal with kids
I’ve noticed people without kids either waited too long or they just don’t want to give up their own selves to have kids and it does take s bit of that unless the mom usually bears most of it while dad makes fortune etc
And there are those usually women sadly who wanted a family but never met anyone or chose badly or never were asked
What we used to call Old Maid like the kids card game
When old like I’m approaching sure as shite you better have good siblings or friends cause in the end trust me it’s usually family that does the heavy lifting and dying can be brutal
Wrong folks in America have most of the kids
We needed folks like you to have them..,no offense
Decent folks
I got kids I reckon cause I just love the hell out of man woman stuff
And if so kids are coming down the life tunnel for sure
There are many reasons to oppose abortion. I oppose abortion for all of them!
We signed our own death warrant when the Supremes allowed unfettered abortion.
I have four kids (as you know). I would have had 10 if I could have (medically, I couldn’t and financially).
But kids cost money and for those of us working to support them, it’s hard (easier for those who get govt handouts).
I tell my kids to work. And to keep working even when they become mothers. I didn’t. And that affected me negatively(financially) when I went back to work.
I have four kids. One is getting married in September :) Two are still in college and one an engineer not in a relationship at the moment. I hope many grandbabies but who knows.
We send our kids to college, to succeed, to be able to make a living. To support themselves (here in NJ).
I was thrilled to move to an area that wasn’t diverse. I got out the the city for a better life. Diversity is a negative thing here. It costs me money. It’s becoming more and more diverse.
“Wrong folks in America have most of the kids” Ain’t that the truth!
BS. The white working class won the election.
“slut around” nice lol
But they ain’t the ones having abortions.
