Hide and watch.
I am sure he knows, he just knows how stupid many people are. So he speaks to play us all for fools.
BS!!!!
Slavery was Law.
There is no government that is bound by the previous decisions of the government thatproceedednthem if they’re willing to fight. Obama, my personal message to you is STFU.
Obama clearly believes the old Goebbels maxim that “if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.”
This POS cant get gone fast enough.
“President Barack Obama is urging the public to help save his health care law, which is in serious danger of being repealed under President-elect Donald Trump.”
Uh, yeah, right, obama. The “public” is gonna fight REAL hard to keep health insurance plans that cost a family of four $30,000 a year, has a $20,000 deductible, whose premiums rise 40%-120% every year, is available from a sole provider (if available at all in some cases),and has a network limited to a few doctors who aren’t taking new patients.
The “public” is gonna fight REAL hard to keep that, by golly!
“helped millions” says he ... “hurt hundreds of millions” says everyone else.
Here’s an idea...
Obamacare may not have to be repealed...
Just create the replacement health-care program...
And...
Don’t fund Obamacare, and just fund the new replacement...
while, transferring the Obamacare members to the, hopefully, better options in the new system...
Eventually, Obamacare will die from lack of use, and the new program will be all that’s left,
and sometime in the future, the Obamacare “law” can be removed from the books as a “quaint and unused and useless” law.
Mr Trump ran and won on the issue of cutting taxes to help the forgotten American and get the economy going again . . . just think about repealing Obozocare as a tax cut for the middle class. . . . And we all know Congress has a history of raising and cutting taxes through legislation. The issue has a different appearance now, doesn’t it?
“Stroke of the pen. Law of the land. Kinda cool.”
Slavery was law too, but we “went backward” and got rid of that horrible institution. It’s okay to repeal terrible, destructive, and inhumane laws - especially another harmful institution like Obamacare.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress [emphases added]. Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
So if all that Trumpcare amounts to is getting rid of unconstitutional federal regulations and taxes that are an obstacle to affordable INTRAstate healthcare, then that is good.
But if Trumpcare requires new federal powers then Trump needs to do the following. He needs to work with state lawmakers to propose an appropriate Trumpcare amendment to the Constitution to the states, the states not obligated to ratify any proposed constitutional amendment.
I think, now, he’s just doing a lot of ‘whistling past the graveyard’...
I got this email from Consumer Reports yesterday:
Subject: Kicking families off their health care
Consumers Union
Dear Mark,
Six years ago, we fought hard to secure health coverage for millions of Americans. We won. Thanks to the power of consumers banding together, more than 20 million people are now covered under the Affordable Care Act. The number of insured Americans soared to a record high!
But the gains weve made are in grave danger. A new government takes power in Washington in just two months. And some in Congress are already threatening to repeal the key health reforms that expand access and protect consumers. That would devastate the millions of Americans who rely on these programs for coverage.
We cannot allow Congress to turn back the clock on progress.
Tell Congress: Dont repeal important health programs that cover millions of Americans. We cant afford to play politics with so many lives at stake.

Its easy to forget how bad things were before we passed this law. But six years ago, almost half of all Americans were at risk of being denied access to health care because of pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies could deny coverage to children with cancer. Millions of young adults left college with no way to afford insurance. Families couldnt get coverage for preventive cancer screenings. And insurance companies spent inordinate proportions of our health premiums on marketing, administration, and CEO salaries instead of actual care.
We cant go back to that broken system. Our right to affordable health care should not fall victim to Washingtons partisan politics. I know we can win this fight if enough of us speak out:
Add your name to tell Congress: dont play politics with our health care coverage. We wont go back to the way things were before reform.
When consumers band together, were an extraordinarily powerful force for good. That was true in 2010 when we secured these protections in the first place. It remains true today.
Thank you for signing our petition. This is just the beginning of the struggle to protect our health care access and protections in the new year, and its heartening to know youre ready to fight with us.
After you add your name, please forward this email to friends and family so we can grow our movement and send a more powerful message to Congress.

It was built on lies!
You can keep doctor—LIE!
You can keep your plan—LIE!
You will save $2,500.00/year—HUGE LIE!
It needs to be done over.
I wish we could go backward and have him never elected - twice.
If we could go back further I would have him been born a woman, whose mother was married to a Christian Pastor from Texas.
We could go back even further and he could have been born when the dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Better analogy is get out of a hole.
Obama heavily modified it by executive order. So should Trump.
We went backward on Jan 20, 2009.
Yep. Democrats have not been this pissed off since the Republicans freed all of the Democrats' slaves.
