Thank you. I got the “job” screwed up. He was the writer not the guy doing the acting. Awesome.

back before commercials pushed political statements.
Like white men/husbands are "stooopid," or how blacks are now in 95% of commercials, etc., etc., etc.

So you can eat Big Macs and live to 98. Take Alka Seltzers, and die young.

Only white people were in commercials back then. Now its swinging the other way. Only time whites are in commercials are if they need an uninformed dufus.

The BEST 1950s commercial was the bebop animated commercial for E-Z Pop popcorn when that product first came out.

E-Z Pop Commercial (1950s)

Love the slogan: "E-Z Pop, man. That's real BOP corn."

The T-Bones, surf music group, they also did a few ad jingles, like The Markettes who did the theme to the Batman TV show.

I've heard it as "What's the price - thirty twice".

Just finished "The House of Mondavi" last night. E&J don't come up as much as Franzia does.

Also just watched "Bottle Shock", and I'd rather have Eliza Dushku telling me it's not Thunderbird than James Mason extolling it.
