Levi's: No Firearms in Our Stores. Thanks.

So, while we understand the heartfelt and strongly-held opinions on both sides of the gun debate, it is with the safety and security of our employees and customers in mind that we respectfully ask people not to bring firearms into our stores, offices or facilities, even in states where it’s permitted by law. Of course, authorized members of law enforcement are an exception.

Levi’s has been like this for years. Big donors to the old Handgun Control, Inc. My Wranglers fit just fine, thanks.

That’s like asking a bank robber not to use a gun...use a knife instead!

Thank goodness all American citizen adults without criminal records & legally mentally competent are part of the militia and therefore authorized to carry.

Not a problem. I stopped purchasing Levi's products when the seams rotted out after the 3rd wash. The company made a good product in the 70s. No more. I buy Lee//Wrangler now. No excuse for the poor quality product. Now, another reason to avoid Levi's. I just picked up some new Lee regular fit in 32x30 to replace the 34x30 that was way too big. Fred Meyer has then on sale this week for $29 per pair.

They’ve been on the anti gun list for a long time despite the history.

“I’ll just continue buying Carhartt jeans..”

Then, you can pass them on to your heirs as they never wear out.

We have friends in the wine industry and Levi’s and regular jeans might last a single crush with red wine.

Carhartt jeans with some of the above friends are past their first decade of crushes. They have an excellent cab color and aroma, and they still work.

In Kentucky, we can carry even in businesses that post things similar to “No Firearms” - the only thing the law requires is that if for some reason they “identify” that you are carrying and ask you to leave, you have to leave - but beyond that, there are no legal ramifications.

Another target for armed robbery just presented itself.

Too bad that the local employees would have to eat a bullet to promote this PC policy.

FWIW, what are they going to do if you bring a gun into their store?

Kick you out?

Sue you?

Call the cops?

These corporations are being run by idiots.

No, they just have to state the company policy to the bad guys who will then apologize and exit the store. It’s that damn easy. Right?

My husband and I quit buying clothes with the Levi label when they phased out and closed their factory in SA-moving the whole thing to Mexico and putting a few hundred people out of work-that was more than 20 years ago, after years of unfair labor practices and arbitrary layoffs. That company has not been pro-America in a long time...

Any business out here that has a problem with someone carrying in their store would not have a lot of customers...

When I was growing up, one wore Levi’s. They were straight up jeans. It wasn’t price or politics that drove me away, it was all the silly styles they came up with. One day my wife bought me a pair of cartharrts and I never went elsewhere..

You got that, criminals?

You are NOT ALLOWED to bring a gun into their store when you go to rob them.

Does it matter if it’s posted? A lot of places can ask you to leave if you somehow become “un-concealed” but otherwise, meh.

Good thing I don’t wear their homo jeans - I have always been a Wrangler jean guy. Can’t boycott these guys as I have never been interested in their products.
