WHOOPI: The flag does not always represent all of its people. All of its people were not taken care of under our flag, so folks know that --
FARIS: I get it.
WHOOPI: People are angry. They sometimes get angry and they burn the flag. Sometimes they burn the neighborhood, you know.

You’re wrong, whoopi.
When I was mad, I took down my flag. Because I thought we had lost our country to 0vomit and people like you who are anti-American. I did not burn it.
BTW, it is now once again flying proudly.

So that's it. You just need to be angry, according to this tool, and that justifies everything.
According to that way of thinking you can commit murder as long as you are angry. And, that, in defiance of law, justifies the action.

If we burn an effigy of whoopi does that mean we don’t hate her? Is it an expression of love?

If people burn the flag,it means they hate something and that makes it hate crime. So let us turn the hate crime BS back on the liberals. :) I love Trump’s tweet this morning!

I emailed trump people earlier tonight about this, a country cannot have freedom of speech and also have hate speech crimes/penalties.
It’s like trying to cut a baby (speech) in two. It (the country and people as a whole) will not survive/thrive.
Some people are so easily offended that almost anything you say is offensive (hate speech) to them. ‘

I’m just traditional enough to maintain that burning our flag is NOT speech. It was not considered speech until a recent Founding hating SCOTUS majority sucked that idea from the same orifice Roe v Wade came from. Check the year and look at the court.

I just looked up Texas v. Johnson. I’m very disappointed in Scalia. Through the years that great man occasionally said some very assinine and unwise things. IMHO, his vote in T v. J was foolish legislating from the bench. Flag burning never was, and isn’t now SPEECH.
