Ronna Romney McDaniel Statement About Potential Recount in Michigan
Michigan GOP ^ | 11/26/2016

Posted on 11/26/2016 4:49:56 PM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Michigan Republican Party Chairman, Ronna Romney McDaniel, issued the following statement regarding a potential recount in Michigan:

"On November 8th, Michigan voters went to the polls, cast their ballots, and Donald Trump won Michigan. Despite no evidence of election tampering or hacking, and being 2.2 million votes behind Donald Trump, Green Party candidate Jill Stein appears to be going forward with a challenge to the Michigan election results. The Michigan Republican Party has been in touch with the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign, and we are prepared to recruit volunteers, train them, and monitor all recount efforts to ensure that it is done in a fair and legal way.

"We are confident that the results will uphold what Michigan voters decided on Election Day: Donald Trump won Michigan and is the President-elect of the United States."

The Michigan Republican Party is urging people to get involved by donating what they can and signing up to volunteer for the potential recount at migop.org/recount.

Count all you want. Trump gets sworn in or we go to war.

It is not official until Monday. Republican SoS would not do this for optics. She is a stickler for rules, apparently.

Jill Stein claims to care about the poor, yet she is willing to spend millions of dollars on this quixotic project. Would not that money be better spent improving the lives of the impoverished?

Something does not compute here.

Apparently it is funded with raised money. News conversations of this cash cow effort include the Soros name.

Stein enjoys the windfall.

I noticed that too. Too painful for them to say that Trump won Michigan.

But, of course, they pointed out that Hillary was leading in the popular vote.

Trump should reverse himself upon being sworn into office and immediately direct his appointees to arrest Hillary and those who enabled her to remain free after breaking the nation’s laws.

Who gives CBS and NBC the privilege to verify the results independently of the MI SoS, I wonder? Do they just anoint themselves? What is the bigger goal? To keep the D base energized for 2018? To overthrow certified ballot box results? If it the latter, I am not sure they want to go there...

“To overthrow certified ballot box results”

The rioting moved from random street things to organized university whining contests.

Soros wants university students to overthrow the results. They’ll have time over Christmas, after classes.

Especially when she campaigned against Hillary, saying she was a war monger and of the two, Trump would be the safer choice. Soros bought her off. I wonder how much her pay off was.

Another thread said that the deadline in PA was 11/23 & no request for recounting had been filed by that date. So that recount may be out of the picture.

Wisconsin also uses VOTER ID and paper ballots, I think. Almost 3 million ballots to recount-—BY hand. Don’t know how that can be done by 12/18. Would have to be done before vote by Electoral College on 12/19.

Some have noted that if recounts don't happen/finish in time, then a whole State's votes go down the drain. This gives the potential of having the Congress decide. If that happens, Trump still wins but I would assume they would then howl about how he doesn't really have a mandate....

Other than a cash grab and a attempt to desensitize us to such crap, that would be my best guess as to what they may be trying.

If their lawyers/agents seem to be trying to slow down the process, we will know for sure if getting whole States disenfranchised is the ploy.

Me too - when the Left sets something in motion, it isn’t always obvious what their real goal is - I think they know they can’t change the outcome so they will settle with being able to hobble Trump in any way they can and set the board for future malfeasance on their part. The problem for them is that the People’s eyes have been opened quite a bit due to trump’s presence and he will remind us as future elections loom - it’s what he does.
