Before you donate to Green Party candidate Jill Stein‘s effort to demand a recount in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, you may want to read the fine print on her website. So far, she has raised $4.8 million, but take a look at this little clause at the end of donation form:

I’ve read that they told her they won’t start the recount till they’ve added up how much it’ll be and she gives them that amount.

Since she has no chance of winning anything, and only wants to do this to insure the integrity of the system, why is there any rush at all?
If we find out the system is broken, we surely can not fix it before we have a new President.
We can save lots of overtime and get a better result by proceeding deliberately.
One of the funny things about this, to me anyways, is that what this really boils down to is that she wants to make sure she’ll still get invited to the ‘right’ parties when this is over rather than being persona non grata, looking in from the sidewalk as all the ‘right’ folk are out parying down.
Trump campaign hasn’t said a peep about this whole mess other than a little quip from Kelly Ann a couple of days ago.
Trump hasn’t even tweeted in two days.
What aggravates me to no end, it where the hell for example is Ryan? Why isn’t he and other Pubbies not out mocking Hillary for putting Stein up to this? Force her to make a public appeal to knock it off etc.
I suspect the Trump campaign is working something up behind the scenes, and we’ll hear from then today.

She is the face of the GREEN party.
This thing with Stein is a reminder that there’s a whole industry of people out there — politicians, political consultants, ad execs, PAC staffs, etc. — for whom political campaigns are nothing more than money bombs to be milked and milked and milked for all they’re worth.
So she got all of this money in such a short time and even her spokespeople admit that they do not have a “smoking gun”, so to speak. Seems like buckraking to me.
I call it SCIM face: So Cool I’m Miserable.
