SEVERAL picks so far. LOTS of speculation and misinformation along the way
This week the country loudly let the PEOTUS know mittens was not on most favored list. Trump let the media know they were NOT on his most favored list. A snark designer who helped keep MO tacky advised other designers to stay away from Melania professionally. We ate too much probably on Thanksgiving and we possibly weren't appreciative enough of the blessings in this life.

Heard something about this briefly on F&F this a.m. These jerks will not let Trump have a smooth transition (I suspect they won’t let him have a smooth Presidency either).
I don’t know everything about how gov’t works and/or all that the GAO does, but I don’t understand how the GAO can investigate Trump, who at the moment is a private citizen, unless there is some provision for president-elects (if so, too bad there wasn’t more time investigating Obummer). They are making and are going to continue to make a big deal out of Trump’s businesses and a “conflict of interest”.

The word I would use is SMART not SELFISH
You are lucky you get 4X for cards.. we just get 10cents off for every $50 purchase so If We give $50 card it is only 10cents off. It all adds up however and last time I got gas at GetGo I had 1.00 off. that was from many months and a couple gift cards (for me).. apple bees, Macaroni Grill, chipotle etc

Usually it’s 10 cents off for $100.00 , but around the holidays they up it to 4xs when buying gift cards.

They are not spoiled and each one has bought their own phones, electronics, video games, ect.

I agree! I think it was someone on that thread that had a thought I found interesting. The designer that designed for Moochelle probably was NOT going to be asked by Melania to provide designs for her, so she was just getting out in front with her statement to save face so to speak (paraphrasing). Makes sense to me - I’m sure Melania wouldn’t be into sofa fabrics and boob belts.
I am working at hotel today at front desk til 3; Saturday front desk 8-12:45 and grocery store (Giant Eagle) 1-5 sampling out craft beers; at hotel Sunday 9AM to 9 PM.
Yesterday was at a church community dinner and helped serve for a few hours early in afternoon. Late afternoon was spent with my friend Paul who is 20 years my senior. We met biking on towpath about 25 years ago. He had just retired from a 40 year teaching gig at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills Ohio (chemistry); TO this day he remains active with the campus photographing cross country, girls basketball and girls volleyball and Track seasons. He has wonderful archives. He still on occasion helps wth tutoring. He never married but would have been an excellent dad. Loves kids and helping them.
We went to the home of a 20 year physics teacher at the same school.. Small but nice group of folk. Good food and drink and excellent conversation. NOTHING was mentioned of politics and I really am not sure where they all stood in relation to the election.

If you buy gift cards, you are probably already aware of this. Last time I checked, there was an additional charge ($5 IIRC) for buying a MasterCard or Visa gift card. Also, I received a MC one once and thought I was being smart saving it until I really needed or wanted to use it. They deducted a “fee” every month, so me waiting for months to use made me lose the initial dollar value on the card.
