MA grand-kids like money so they can save up for something they really want.
They are not spoiled and each one has bought their own phones, electronics, video games, ect.
Mom and dad get them clothes and necessities.
If you buy gift cards, you are probably already aware of this. Last time I checked, there was an additional charge ($5 IIRC) for buying a MasterCard or Visa gift card. Also, I received a MC one once and thought I was being smart saving it until I really needed or wanted to use it. They deducted a “fee” every month, so me waiting for months to use made me lose the initial dollar value on the card.
