President-elect Donald Trump has selected former GOP presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson as the head of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, a spokesman for Mr. Carson said.
The spokesman, Armstrong Williams, said Mr. Carson was offered the HUD secretary post and has accepted it.

I think this appointment is utterly outstanding.
Trump embraces people of all races. To him, I truly believe race is irrelevant. What matters about a person is THEIR COMMITMENT TO THE IDEALS AND HONOR OF AMERICA.
Trump, working through Carson, may destroy the Left permanently if they can begin turning around the inner cities.
This is psychological as much as anything. Seeing Carson, a brilliant, accomplished, admired black man fighting at their side every day has a chance to succeed.

I’d say Armstrong Williams, his spokesman, is a pretty reliable source.
Earlier today Ben tweeted:
“An announcement is forthcoming about my role in helping to make America great again.”
President Hillary Clinton would have flooded the USA with 3rd world immigrants, including millions of Muslim Syrians and other Muslim. FYI there are 7 billion people in the world most of them in poverty , 1.7 billion Muslims in poverty. This alone would have been the end of the USA and freedom. Plus Hillary is a hard core communist who would have imported all these 3rd world immigrants as voters for communism in the USA
This is just 1 point that shows we should be extremely thankful Trump beat Hillary and her allies the GOPe and democrats and the media and world establishment to save America
Trump also already stopped TPP(saved U.S. sovereignty) and many companies are saying they will make things in the USA again (Apple, Ford,HP, and many others already).
Ok these are just 3 points . I know at least 100 others that show Trump saved America and will Make America Great again. He hasn't even taken office or had any power yet.

Considering what I've heard about his upbringing, I think this is a GOOD fit.
Whilst Jeb, Cruz and Rubio sprinted onto the stage, Mr Trump did not want Carson to feel alone and embarassed.
