Donald Trumps meeting with the New York Times Tuesday is suddenly back on again after being just as suddenly cancelled.
Before 7 a.m. Trump was on Twitter bashing the failing newspaper (which is not failing), and announcing that he was calling off their meeting because they had attempted to change the terms of the meeting.
Not nice, the president-elect groused.
The Times denied that it had ever changed or attempted to change the ground rules for the meeting, saying that the paper had agreed to a small off-the-record portion of a larger conversation with columnists and reporters, which would be on the record. The Times also said that they only heard about the meetings cancellation from Trumps early-morning angry tweet.
Shortly before 10 a.m. CNNs Brian Stelter reported that Trump press secretary Hope Hicks told him the meeting was back on.
On Monday Trump met off the record yesterday with anchors and representatives from CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News. Reportedly, the president-elect used the meeting to criticize them for their coverage of him. It was like a ******* firing squad, a source told the New York Post.
Need more Kleenex. Slobbering over the winning!
The NY Times lies constantly. Why should we believe anything they say now? And failing? They are losing a lot of money, more and more each year. Isn't that a pretty good definition of "failing?"
Good. The media deserves this.
Go, Trump, go!
and the NYT is failing on numerous counts.
I have no reason to believe the NYT.
First rule of negotiating - be prepared to walk away.
Actually based on declining earnings and distribution, it's failing.
Two big dogs sniffing each others hind quarters to see which is the alpha.
Not the least of the failing is financially.
After their daily barrage of hateful and venomous articles and reports, Pres Elect Trump is treating the media like his little cuckold b—ches...
Another FAKE news headline!

Trump cancels New York Times meeting, then changes his mind
“which is not failing” lol.
Fact check the parenthetical on Aisle 2!
Trump plays ‘em like a fiddle. All the MSM can do is run around in circles. LOL
“First rule of negotiating - be prepared to walk away.”
Yes. The concept is called BATNA. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Best_alternative_to_a_negotiated_agreement
“Before 7 a.m. Trump was on Twitter bashing the failing newspaper (which is not failing)...”
It failed long ago. It’s financial failing is s-l-o-w, but it’s moral failure happened years ago.
