The Queen 'Set To Invite Donald Trump to Britain'
The president-elect reportedly told Theresa May that his mother had been a 'big fan' of the Queen Laura Hughes 20 NOVEMBER 2016 Donald Trump will receive an invitation to meet with the Queen in the summer of next year, according to reports.
Ministers believe the Queen is their "secret weapon" and Theresa May will use the state visit to help strengthen the "special relationship" between Britain and the United States.
The US president-elect reportedly told the Prime Minister during a phone call last week that his late Scottish mother had been a "big fan" of the Queen. The Sunday Times reports that plans to roll out the red carpet and offer Mr Trump a meeting with the Queen are now being drawn up in Whitehall. A formal invitation will be made after he is sworn in as president on Jan 20. A source who had discussed the issue with a cabinet minister said: "The government has decided that their secret weapon to get in with Trump is to offer him an early visit to the Queen, him and [his wife] Melania staying at Windsor Castle." Another cabinet source said: "The Queen is the key here.

Bet Trump won’t be taking baskets of DVDs and ipads.
Does an English Monarch even have the authority to do that? Parliament creates and passes the laws. If a government agency or elected official determines that a person should be restricted from the country, I don't believe the Queen has the authority to countermand that order. I've got British ancestors, love British history, but am not an expert, so perhaps a true Brit would be able to clarify this.
Excellent. The Donlad has an audience with the Queen Of England.
Loving this Winning.
Buh-BAM!
Not the way to do it.
Why meet with someone as irrelevant as the Queen.
The Queen oversaw the forfeit of her Nation to Islam.
If he does meet with her, he should discuss the terms of Britain’s surrender to America.
It will save her nation from 100 years of dull machetes.
ROTFL. Positively smashing idea.
British Parliament pummels Trump but doesnt ban him from the U.K.
When Obama met the queen did he bow the way he did to the king of Saudi Arabia?
Trumps Scottish mother would be proud.
Hope he makes Michael Savage part of his entourage.
How did the Queen ‘oversee the forfeit of her Nation to Islam’?
I’m not sure how immigration law works in Britain, but I doubt the Queen has anything to do with its formulation.
For the most part, President Trump shouldn’t be wasting time with foreign travel, meeting foreign leaders abroad. His time is too valuable for that, and he has far too much to do at home, fixing all the stuff the Obamas, Clintons, Bushes, and other members of the Uniparty have broken here.
If President Trump REALLY needs to meet a foreign leader, he should invite them to meet President Trump at the White House. It also shows who the big dog is, and it’s NOT those other leaders.
The first leader President Trump should invite is Vladimir Putin, so they can work out ways to cooperate on killing ISIS and any other issues of mutual interest, as well as finally putting an end to the cold war.
Did she speak out against it.
Not to my knowledge.
It isn’t appropriate for her speak out publicly on political issues. We don’t know what she may have done or said in private.
I am hoping he comes back with that bust of Churchill that Obamao returned to England.
‘Irrelevant Queen’, ‘overseeing the forfeit of her nation to Islam,’ ‘terms for Britain’s surrender to America’, ‘100 years of dull machetes.’
Eye watering stuff. It’s a good job that it’ll be President Trump staying at Windsor Castle rather than you. The conversation over dinner would be quite awkward. I know Prince Philip appreciates blunt talk, but I fear that Her Majesty might set the corgis on you.
One thing is for certain, President Trump won’t jabber through the national anthem like the current president did. The Queen’s first president was Eisenhower (although she did also meet Hoover and Truman before becoming queen) and has met every single one since, apart from LBJ. The first of 13 prime ministers was Winston Churchill. She has hoovered up a lot of wisdom over the years, but that is probably ‘irrelevant.’
The husband and I watched that program last night. I found the production style and the interviewer annoying.
:)
I was trying to think of some clever reference to that Obamao insult to the Queen, but yours is perfect.
