Donald Trump is reportedly firing around 500 of Barack Obama’s staffers, as he plans to completely fill the White House with his own team.
The Federalist Papers reported that though it’s likely that Hillary Clinton would have let most of Obama’s people go so that she could hire her own staff, Trump’s win closed the door on the possibility of any of Obama’s staffer sticking around. The fired staffers have gotten so desperate about their employment situation that Obama has brought in representatives from Facebook, Instagram and other companies to offer insights into the job market. According to CBS News, Linkedin officials are helping Obama’s staff find ways to market their skills.
Georgetown University, which is located close to the White House, has designed a custom professional development program they call “Future44,” Obama is the 44th president, to teach Obama’s political appointees how to build their lives after the White House. The program is free of charge thanks to an anonymous donor, and participants register for either four 2-hour evening sessions or one 8-hour “boot camp.”
“We designed this unique curriculum to help these staffers think through how to market themselves or market their competencies,” said Kelly Otter, dean of Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies.
Many of Obama’s staffers will likely end up in liberal cities like New York or San Francisco working for companies that cater to millennials such as Amazon, Snapchat, Google, Vice, etc.
“The transition out of government is a reality for most appointees, which brings both excitement about prospects for the next chapter or a long-awaited chance to recharge batteries, and a keen awareness about a big, impending change,” said White House spokeswoman Jennifer Friedman.
Ivan Adler, a headhunter at McCormick Group, explained that Obama’s staffers are about to face a major change in life that may be hard..."

That’s what I was thinking. Bush, in trying to get along and show fairness got screwed and didn’t get a kiss......thank God Trump doesn’t play that game.
I’d put a picture of Obama on the wall, the instruct the following:
“If you have to lie about having ever worked for this man in order to put food on your table, God will forgive you for it. The truth is you have no marketable skills, and what skills you thought were marketable two weeks ago became an insurmountable liability for you on January 20.
In case you all were wondering, those coal miners you laid off know exactly what you are going through. You can find solace in that.”
BushtheJunior tried to ‘play nice’ and they ended up virtually stripping the White House of everything not tied down, going so far as to take ALL the W’s off computers, etc.
Besides that, everytime W farted, ‘they’ took impeachment papers out....strictly in retaliation for the clintoon impeachment.

HRC had the right but it was considered in poor taste to fire the WH travel office.
Think clintoon fired all the US Attorneys etc also.
Look what happens in Congress & Senate the Senator may be there for a 6+ term but the staffers have been there for a lifetime...that is where the ‘real power’ lies especially if all the staffers can find out what his ‘boss’ likes (young girls/boys etc)and it doesn’t take long for the staffers to be running and ruling the office.
Unless the staffers are Civil Service etc, if I were to be elected, there would be new blood - AND I would probably get buried....
Remember when RR became Gov of CA he basically tossed ALL recipients of state checks OUT with the provision that a job app was with the ‘firing notice’ and the ‘oldies’ would be considered first in line etc.Got rid of people who hadn’t been around for years...
Got rid of thousands of welfare cheats by making them show up early on and ID themselves..no show, no check...
A Government, Company, Business sometimes gets so big that it is impossible to make sure that EVERY check you send out is a ‘legitimate’ expenditure.

I’d think it should be anyone that was not a career-track GS employee before Obama would be fired. As they should be. If it was a Presidential hiring, they HAVE to go.
They can apply for those shovel-ready jobs Obama claimed he created.

#1 The headline is false. Trump has no authority yet.
#2 When Trump takes office, something like 1300 Obama appointees will offer their resignations.
#3 Trump can and should fire all 1300 and any others he’s allowed to, maybe another 1000. Drain the swamp!
