full title..................Don't lock her up: Trump confidante Laura Ingraham says people 'want to turn the page' and says the public doesn't want to spend 'months and months and months' on the Clinton Foundation and Hillary's emails.................................While chants of 'Lock Her Up' reverberated through the ballroom at Donald Trump's election night party in New York City, the president-elect's confidante Laura Ingraham suggested the new administration avoid investigating Hillary Clinton.
'I think there are a lot of people who just want to turn the page and move past this very rancorous time in American politics,' Ingraham said this morning on the 'Today' show.
Ingraham is reportedly on the short list for press secretary, so she made it clear to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that she was 'not speaking for the administration' when she said that she didn't think 'most Americans want to spend months and months and month going through what the Clintons did or didn't do at the foundation or with the private server.'

President Trump is going to have a very busy First 100 Days. I’m sure he’ll find time to address the criminal Clintons when time permits.
Let’s not lock her up.
Convict her of treason have her pay the penalty for high treason.
That would be the best way to turn that page and also serve as a warning to other elite criminals.
I like Laura, but I STRONGLY disagree with her.
We know for fact Hillary committed thousands of felonies with the emails and HIGH TREASON via the Wikileaks.
In addition there are the 650,000 emails that include just about ever crime in the book according to the NYPD.
She is a National Security Threat and a Clear and Present Danger to the Republic.
Sorry Laura but this is not just politics...
1. We have a procedure for this. It's called the law. The investigation should proceed according to it. Period.
2. At what point does allowing a criminal of this magnitude to (a) go free, and (b) keep her ill-gotten gains, serve any form of "healing"? Does Ingraham think that the Dems are going to change either attitude or behavior based on what we do in this affair? That they'll soften, become less malicious, less hostile? Or will they use it as validation of the proposition that if they have enough of a tantrum they can get whatever they want?
This is not a partisan issue, it's a legal one, and if we boast about having a government of laws instead of men and women, we're going to have to live up to it. No, a hundred times NO!
Ingraham is wrong.
like the main said “If I win, you’ll be jailed”
I think what will happen is Cankles gets indicted for Foundation, Trump pardons her but as condition of pardon Foundation us razed, all $$distributed to Cath Relief Serv or Red Cross.
Maybe her muslim terrorist donors will come calling for their “donations” back, or for her head as a soccer ball.
It will be the greatest injustice the World has ever known if he pardons her. The blood of innumerable people that were murdered by her hired hand is crying out for justice. Justice demands that she be hanged for the traitor she is. A pardon for her is an announcement to the World that the United Stats of America is no longer a Nation of Laws but a nation of men where the powerful can do as they please with no fear of repercussions. And the only purpose of laws is to control the serfs. But that is what some want. But my race is nearly run, so? If you are going to pardon her, why go to the trouble to try her and if the evidence against her indicates it, convict her?
She needs to be prosecuted for her crimes. It is unfair to the citizens to allow Hillary to not be charged.
I like Laura, but totally disagree with her on this. The rule of law needs to be followed for all people.
That said, I don’t know what happens if O bunho pardons her. If he does, she will take it.
The FBI is supposedly investigating the Clinton Foundation, but Justice wouldn’t give them subpoena and other stronger powers to do so.
Trump should give them those powers and see if they can develop a strong case.
Depending on the level of corruption, it could end on a plea deal like Petraeus without jail time.
No pardon for the Clintons until McCauliffe gives one to the McDonnells.
Laura can’t Shut Up and Sing.
And Shut Up and Talk don’t sound right.
Hillary was dead broke once. She can go back to that.
National security investigations don’t have to be front page news (nor military ops), and should go forward regardless to determine the depth of harm and vulnerabilities. Civil, administrative and legal actions should be developed and pursued over time and in good order. It needs to be transparent and as apolitical as possible.
The CF investigation should be put on the front burner and all the corruption should be blasted from the rooftops. The criminal actions and corruption needs to be prosecuted at all levels, and laws need to be enacted or enforced with prejudice. They took advantage of the most needy to enrich themselves and their cronies.
Laura Ingraham joins in on the “What difference, at this point, does it make?” chorus.
Let’s face it, Trump defeated many of his opponents by saying or implying things that weren’t true and that he didn’t believe himself. If you read between the lines, the tone of most of his statements about throwing Hillary in jail were tongue-in-cheek.
Seems to be going to jail does more damage to their brand than getting a pardon.
Nixon’s reputation only went up after his pardon.
I suggest Laura shut the hell up about this. The Toon needs to be UNDER the jail.
I recall that at the RNC convention, you boldly pointed out the MSM and stated a few times...
" Do your job!... Do your job!". Yet now you are arguing that the DOJ NOT perform their sworn duty and allow some elite to skate when it comes to Federal offenses.Laura, guess you want the MSM to investigate, to report the crimes, the scandals committed...but the DOJ IS now to consider if the prosecution of said crimes/scandals will be drawn out, that the elite would be shamed. I am thoroughly disappointed you would suggest such dereliction of duty.
I would liken your suggestion that "some pigs are more equal than others".
