full title..................Don't lock her up: Trump confidante Laura Ingraham says people 'want to turn the page' and says the public doesn't want to spend 'months and months and months' on the Clinton Foundation and Hillary's emails.................................While chants of 'Lock Her Up' reverberated through the ballroom at Donald Trump's election night party in New York City, the president-elect's confidante Laura Ingraham suggested the new administration avoid investigating Hillary Clinton.

'I think there are a lot of people who just want to turn the page and move past this very rancorous time in American politics,' Ingraham said this morning on the 'Today' show.

Ingraham is reportedly on the short list for press secretary, so she made it clear to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that she was 'not speaking for the administration' when she said that she didn't think 'most Americans want to spend months and months and month going through what the Clintons did or didn't do at the foundation or with the private server.'

Dear Laura,
Liberty and Justice for all

One law for all; no special privilege for being rich and famous;

President Obama can issue a pardon if he so chooses, for couple of months yet.

Tell the families of the four murdered Americans in Benghazi that.

The issue is Chelsie is using ill gotten funds for life and will use the money to at least get to the Senate. If she’s guilty of criminality lock her up now.

Hillary shouldn’t get a pass but Congress has a tendency to get bogged down with investigations and not get anything else done. Have to push these guys

It shouldn’t be a Presidential initiative. Once he declares he will enforce all laws and replaces Comey/Lynch/other corrupted folks in the FBI/DOJ, if an investigation occurs, he should not speak one way or the other - just let it ride its course with honest folks doing the investigation.

Yes, but pardoning her is a quicker way to tell the whole world: "You are guilty, forever" - and it doesn't run the risk of having an investigation spun as a "vicious, partisan attack on a sick old woman."

If Obama doesn't pardon her, Trump should do it on Day One. And he can do it in James Comey style, leaving no doubt she is guilty but stating that he is taking this action for "bipartisan healing and the good of the nation."

The Clintons would be incensed, because their brand would be instantly and permanently destroyed.

I think Hellary is right on the edge, and while I think she should should have to have justice served to her, I want a long investigation - one of those that decisively shows guilt early but drags on for a while.

And then make sure they remove all things that might be used to make a noose when they finally lock her up.

Looks to me like she didn’t give a definitive answer.

Fueling any fire on the left is a bad idea.

Things are volatile now and anything seeming to point in the direction of “locking her up” will give the press spinnable responses before Inauguration Day.

I’d be surprised if Obama doesn’t do it. His EPA and Dept of Interior are already sticking it in at the last minute

I am inclined to agree with regard to the e-mail but definitely not with regard to the Clinton foundation.

I have mixed feelings. Hillary is guilty of major felonies, but so was Richard Nixon. Ford pardoned Nixon so we could move on, and that had its advantages.

Considering that Hillary is almost certain to have at least one supporter on any jury, it may simply be impractical to prosecute her for her crimes. Why let the sideshow distract from dismantling liberalism, if justice will in the end be denied?

I would love to see the Democrat, “Witch” Hillary Clinton locked up for the rest of her useless life!!! But.....I agree with Ms. Ingraham on this one.....drop all proceedings against this waste of time human being, Hillary Clinton.

IMHO, our Lord God, Almighty, has alrady rended his “on high” correct judgement against this evil, self-centered woman, and he has banished her forever, from any meaningful public service action!!! Let her stew in the mess of her own crooked making for all eternity!!! She will suffer every day she breathes, human vermin that she is!!!

If Ms. Clinton thinks her political rally supporter crowds were small, she is in for a real rude awakening. No one cares one hoot about her, now and forever!!! That my friends is the real world.

I warned the Democrat Party that Obama, Clinton would take them down....they just, never listened. And, by the way, the quicker the Dems shun the Congressional Black Caucus & the NAACP, the better off thyy will be. Both these organizations coupled with do nothing POTUS Obama have done more damage to African-Americans then all the White racist buffoons combined!!! Wise up Democrats...get real!!!

Exactly. The Rosenbergs were executed for less.

The Clintons absolutely should not be allowed to skate.

She is not priority number one ......

After a new AG and FBI director is in place let the wheels of justice slowly turn and grind her up......

She is now not relevant and her case should move forward in normal manner....

Hillary doesn’t need to be locked up. The Clinton Foundation and CGI need to be confiscated under RICO laws. There are going to be a lot of pissed off donors. No doubt the whole Clinton Clan will meet with a series of accidents in the next few years.

So do I (want her locked up)! Would any other American be given the “Let’s move on” treatment under these circumstances? No way in hell! “Closing the book” on her criminal misdeeds would be a horrible way for Trump to start his presidency. There are those of us - myself included - who would only see that as an endorsement of the elite, political class over the rest of America.

To President-elect Trump: 1) Don’t make ANY further comment on the issue at all; 2) Don’t interfere in ANY way whatsoever; 3) Let the Bureau and DOJ do their jobs and see the investigation(s) to their natural conclusion. If there is no conspiracy, no criminal activity and no criminal intent (where that standard may apply), so be it. If there is, prosecute her sorry, goat-smelling ass!
