Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans, who starred at Texas A&M and Galveston Ball High School, took a knee during the National Anthem before Sunday's game, but he didn't do it for the same reason as some other players in the NFL.
Evans explained after the game that he kneeled during the anthem for the first time this season because Donald Trump has been elected president.

Did you hear the audio Rush played of Goodell from last week?
He claims Trumps election will cause more domestic violence.
This, from a guy who overlooks wife beaters, rapists and thugs because they can play a game.

Somebody shoukd have kicked him in the @$$just because he deserved it. Screw the NFL, all its executives, teams and players.
Now you know why he kneeled...
Let me introduce you to this great sport called Hockey!
I understand why Hollywood people would have to fake what they think. It is shown by the Hollywood insider that posts here who said that they will say stuff to protect their gig.
I get it
But the rest of these people..you have no excuse.
That’ll get their ratings back up - NOT!
I’m watching more hockey, college football, and now college basketball since the NFL decided to preach its politics to me.
The Left politicizes everything it touches. Give it a break.
Ya know, there will always be something you don’t like. So why don’t you guys kneel for the whole game?
You think I’d like it if i started watching regularly?
Dont really understand the rules as far as player setup and who can go where etc.
When is the season?!??!
I don’t get why they kneel - this “taking a knee” thing. You kneel when you pray, NOT when you protest. How did that ever catch on?
Another attention whore.
Are these people bad players who can’t get any attention unless they pull these stupid stunts?
