Forty-six of the electoral college votes President-elect Donald Trump won on his way to a resounding 306 to 232 electoral college victory over Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton came from three states where his combined margin of victory was only 108,600 votes.
No major media outlet has yet called Michigan for Trump, but a spokesperson for the Michigan Secretary of State’s office told Breitbart News on Thursday “there’s no reason to believe there will be large numbers of votes that will be found subsequent to the current reporting.”
Clinton’s inattention on the campaign trail to these three “Rust Belt” states cost her dearly.
As The Week, points out, Hillary Clinton failed to visit Wisconsin, even once, after April.
It could have been even worse for the Clinton campaign. Trump, who only visited Minnesota once during the last month of the campaign (an overflow rally held Sunday at the Minneapolis airport), almost won that traditionally liberal state’s 10 electoral college votes as well.
Trump won Pennsylvania, with its 20 electoral college votes, by 68,236 votes, Wisconsin, with its 10 electoral college votes, by 27,257 votes, and Michigan, with its 16 electoral college votes, by 13,107 votes.
Had those 108,600 votes gone to Hillary Clinton, she would have won the presidency with a a 278 to 260 electoral college victory over Trump. (Though New Hampshire, with its 4 electoral college votes has not yet been called, Clinton holds a 1,614 vote margin there–0.2 percent of votes cast in the state– with 100 percent of precincts reporting.)
Clinton won the popular vote by 0.2 percent, or about 200,000 votes out of a total of 120 million total votes cast.
A key shift of less than 0.1 percent of those votes–108,600–would have given us President-elect Clinton instead of President-elect Trump.

It seemed her entire strategy was to invite Michelle Obama to a 15,000-person rally in North Carolina and deny Trump the state. Instead she lost it by 190,000 votes.

That is right on. Trump earned that win. He made a mighty effort and left it all out on the field. It was amazing to watch. If he fights for us that way he fought in that campaign, I predict mighty good things happening.

I was one of the pessimistic ones. Not for PA or any specific state. My skepticism was because of Vote Fraud. Obama stole 2012, and probably 2008. In the years since 2012, not one specific, concrete action was taken by our Republican Congress, the RNC, or the courts to stop Vote Fraud.
And it only got worse. Terry Mcauliffe giving 60,000 felons the right to vote via "executive order" and then defying a court ban to do so, Illegals flooding our nation unimpeded and even encouraged to break the law by Obama, the electronic rigging of vote machines, and on and on.
As it turned out, Trump won, but if Hillary had managed to steal a few more thousand votes in selected counties, we would have been sunk.
I truly believe that God intervened.

But my prediction (happily) was wrong. The American people were incredibly courageous. I was so nervous the night of the election that I had to turn off the coverage about 730 pm and watched "Goodfellas" instead. I kept checking my iPod to see updates, but I could not stick with it until about 1000 pm.

Each member of the Electoral College should vote how their individual Congressional District voted. The two members from each state, that represent the Senator’s vote (state’s interest), should vote the for the candidate who won the popular vote in the state.
This would represent the will of the American people a lot better than a winner take all (current) system.
Voter fraud and illegal aliens voting would be limited to those large urban areas where they are concentrated.
A map based on Congressional District would look a lot like the one above, but Trump would have a lot higher Electoral Number.

Without the Electoral College all Presidential elections would be decided by California and New York. How many times would that happen until Red States started to openly talk of secession?
See folks, it doesn’t take “widespread” voter fraud, as Ovomit said. It only takes a small portion of fraud to swing an election.

But Hillary didn’t win the popular vote either. Absentee ballots are in fact, not tabulated in most states.
