While President-elect Donald Trump met with outgoing President Barack Obama, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner was getting his introduction to White House life from chief of staff Denis McDonough.

This could be a sign that Trump is eyeing Kushner to be his chief of staff.

Kushner is marred to Trump's oldest daughter Ivanka, who also played a pivotal role in the billionaire's campaign.

Kushner and Ivanka Trump also are preparing for their first TV interview since Donald Trump's stunning election victory put them even more into the spotlight.

I’d be happy just being his secretary!

..I wonder if Duncan Hunter Sr. (who is only 68) would take SecDef if he received a call from DJT...

I worry about the conflict of a link to his business while president.

Who dreams up this crap?

Trump is going to hire the individual based on qualifications, not because he's his son-in-law.

Agreed. No one else has his qualifications.

The Chief of Staff frequently has to be the president’s designated son of a bitch. Is Kushner temperamentally suited for a job like that?

I would give Kellyanne Conway just about any position she wanted. She was able to keep him disciplined and on message down the stretch. I think she would make a great Chief of Staff.

Many talking heads are saying DJT needs a government veteran to serve as COS but I like the idea of Trump having a person of total trust in that spot. From what I gather, Ivanka and her husband are absolutely brilliant. Yes they are brilliant. That's why they are running his multi-billions dollar business empire. Furthermore they like what they're doing continuing the Trump brand and their grand-father's legacy.

I hope not.

I'm thrilled to see Trump win, but I have always been uncomfortable about some of these family connections. Do a Google search on his father Charles Kushner to see what I mean.

I saw some items yesterday suggesting that Giuliani doesn't really want that job. He might be better suited for the Dept. of Homeland Security anyway.

The most intriguing name I've heard in connection to the AG post has been Trey Gowdy.

Why would anyone think Jared would make a good Chief of Staff? Jared as Trump’s CoS is the dumbest idea imaginable.

President Trump can make this task simpler by abolishing the Departments of Education and Energy.

“He would be great as chief of staff.”

Chief of Staff needs to be a young, energetic person: it’s job that destroys physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Plus, Newt’s level of knowledge and experience is FAR too valuable to waste as head Presidential administrator.

Conway would be great in any spot. I could not name anyone in his most unlikely campaign who was more impressive from Day 1.

Ben Carson would be a great choice for Health.

Think Palin might be too busy with her kids, especially Trig, but I’ve love to see her back doing something in the public eye.

Allen West for Defense?

I wouldn’t trust Chris Christie to fetch the donuts, much less any important job.

Ugh. That is the job where I think Rudy could be most effective. He knows the DOJ and knows the politics at main Justice.

With that said, Rudy will get whatever job he wants - he earned it!

He isn’t guilty of his father’s sins. The left has labelled Jared Kushner and “evil genius” for his work on the Trump campaign, so I consider that a pretty solid endorsement. Plus I’d rather see complete washington outsiders running the show instead of a bunch of rehashes from previous administrations.
