President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama cancelled a photo op with President-Elect Donald Trump and future First Lady Melania Trump at the White House on Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The Obamas became strong campaigners for Hillary Clinton during the presidential race and held rallies for her around the country.
In 2008, after President Obama won his first election to the presidency, President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush welcomed the Obamas to the White House in what has become a tradition, and took a picture of the two couples.

EXACTLY!! The press tried to convince the public that the Wookie was a glamorous as Jackie Kennedy. Melania is far more beautiful than Jackie, and Michelle would look like a char woman standing next to Melania.
Americans rewarded dear leader with the ability, as president, to spend $1.5 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR (A WHOPPING $12 BILLION DOLLARS for 8 years) on themselves- and he can’t be gracious enough to be civil to the incoming president?

I think it is one of the most used photos that was photoshopped on the net that people think is actually real.
If you were Michelle would you want to have your picture taken next to Mrs Trump?

In case people don’t know, that is a composite done of 3 people on the steps of the Spanish Royal’s palace in Majorca.

Note differences in posture, attire, grooming, hairstyle, shoes, etc.

Funny story, when Melania was giving her RNC address I looked over at my husband and two teenage sons. Their heads were ever-so-slightly tilted and their gazes were obviously glazed. I asked what they were watching and my youngest said “Mel-ahhhhhhhhh-nia” in a whispery voice. Lucky for me (and my hubby), I am not the jealous type! I would venture a guess that Moochelle is not like me!

I don’t think Michele wanted to be contrasted with Milania.
The “optics” would just be too much.
Of course Michelle hates America — she has to vacate her rent-free housing.
