That massive blue block on the left – encompassing California, Oregon, Nevada and Washington state – stands out quite a bit against all of the red.
So it may not be a huge surprise that people living in that Democrat-voting block are now looking at other options – specifically, secession.
Since Donald Trump’s electoral victory was first announced, #Calexit has been trending on Twitter, with distraught Californians looking to form their own state.

Yep, but who cares. Democrats like to talk about “investments” in infrastructure. Building a wall truly is an investment when you consider the costs of illegal immigration.
They can pack their widdle bags and move to Mexico. Just leave the state here with us.

If secession were to happen, the resulting “new country” would be surprisingly small, because most of California is Red.
If the red zone severs the water connection to the blue zone, who will prevail in the California civil war?
They would lose too many electoral votes and never win another election.
California leaving would be the death of the democratic party.
No visas to the U.S. and no path to citizenship.

CA has 55 Electoral Votes meaning they alone own 10% of the vote. That’s entirely too much control over the rest of the nation.
Eleminate illegals from the population and they’d lose EVs and the loonies they send to Congress.
So the real leftist area is not the greater LA area, but the Bay area. I didn’t realize that LA was actually “better”.
They aren’t going to get off that easy. We had to suffer through their control of the government. Now they have to suffer through ours. Let’s make them wish the never invented the concept of big government.
