My state of va went blue again. Too many workers on the government dole.
Absolutely.
What became of the “rogue” elector in WA?
This to.
Your title: Clinton takes lead in national popular vote
NO SUCH ARTICLE
Joe, did you get the proof you were looking for last night?
Looks like LS, and his reports were quite accurate.
We should assign 1 elector for each county in the US. That would make it a little more fair!
I’m sure you feel that you are a memorable poster but refresh my memory.
If you are talking about the election I got the same proof I’ve been using for 50 years during elections.
and the founders of our nation were SUPERSMART!and
they have protected us even up to 2016
Where can you find SUPERSMARTS these days like days of old?
didn’t think so.......
wrong!! the system as is works just fine.
neither does Lizzie Warren FauxcaHauntUs
huh?
Are you angry Trump won?
So I look fox news and on the map they have not called some obvious wins for trump.
I went to bed with a heavy heart just before she conceded.
I woke up to good news!
God protect us all.
Exactly! As much as we sometimes don’t like the electoral college, it works to keep heavily populated states like California for ruling the entire country.
The popular vote is skewed by the populous blue states like NY and CA. A good part of the vote is wasted in those states in the actual election, yet when national polls are taken, they show up. That’s why a +4 Clinton lead in some polls going into the election translated to a tighter Electoral College race.
Exactly!
So did I. Trump still had a 2 point lead with 90% of precincts reporting. I suspect that Mcauliffe’s thugs pulled some kind of shenanigans with the vote counts in Northern Virginia.
what are you squawking about?
Hillary won three large states with lopsided margins: New York, California, and Illinois. Hillary won nearly five million more votes than Trump in just those three states alone. That’s why you have the popular vote tilting to Hillary. Meaningless, but still disturbing that those three states are no longer competitive for any Republican. Take away Chicago, New York City, LA and San Francisco’s lopsided Democrat votes, and those three states might have a chance again.
