Long time no posting for me, Rodguy, how are you? Thank you for this thread...it dragged me back to posting. I’ve spent 8 years in a political depression. Not an overall one, just had to stay away from posting in an echo chamber and focus on waking people up to reality. My extended family is conservative and now as awake as can be.

Obviously, that's premature, getting into the election four years from now. Depends upon how things go, and how Trump holds up physically. I believe he will be the oldest ever to begin a presidency.
If doesn't want to run in 2020, Mike Pence looks to be a strong contender, based on his excellent performance during this campaign.

Absolutely! I was so wore out today, but so happy that this happened. Apparently, I got up a 4:30 (when Mr. MOgirl gets up) and asked if it was still true. (I have no memory of this...) I guess I was so sure that they would steal it...

I really did not “cheat” on my 1928 answer. I lived in Southern California from 1962 until 2001. Herbert Hoover was the Republican nominee from California! Must have remembered that from a history class. Do they teach history any longer?
