Breitbart ^ | Nov 7 2016 | Neil W. McCabe

These Breitbart/Gravis five swing state polls show a nation in flux as America’s 2016 presidential election ends Tuesday night.

Virginia

Democrat Hillary Clinton leads her GOP rival Donald Trump with 47 percent to 42 percent for the New York City developer in the battle for Virginia’s 13 electoral votes, according to the Breitbart/Gravis poll conducted Nov. 1 through Nov. 4 with 1,362 registered voters there.

The poll carries a 2.7 margin of error with a 95 percent level of confidence.

Libertarian Gary Johnson has the support of four percent of the poll participants with Green Party nominee the choice of one percent.

The voters have similar feelings for the two major candidates, 34 percent had a strongly favorable opinion of Clinton and 26 percent had a strongly favorable opinion of Trump. Forty-six percent had a strongly unfavorable opinion of Clinton with 48 percent for Trump.

Fifty-five percent said the country was going in the wrong direction to the 36 percent of Virginia voters who said the country was going in the right direction.

Fifty-five percent said that President Barack Obama‘s healthcare reform, Obamacare, was a success, 42 percent said it was not.

Fifty-three percent of Virginia voters said they wanted the next president to change the polices of the Obama administration, 42 percent said those policies should continue.

Republican Mitt Romney lost Virginia to Obama in the 2012 presidential election with 47 percent of the vote to the president’s 51 percent.

The Virginia poll was conducted by Gravis Marketing, a Florida-based polling company, with a combination of interactive voice response polling and an internet panel of cell phone users. Results were weighted to match a proprietary turnout model.

That is a lie, we knew both were heading to defeat, especially in 08.

Clearly, you are a troll and haven't been on FR.

A number of polls have Trump ahead, so which ones are going to be right?

No doubt when Trump wins you will crawl away and never be heard from again.

I’ve been on this site since 2000. And, no, this board was all in on McCain and Romney up till the night of the election.

You are lying through your teeth!

Just because we hoped the polls were wrong, we didn't believe that they were losing

We knew they had serious problems with their base and McCain actually shut down his campaign over TARP, which finished him.

And polls haven't been wrong before?

You are simply a Democrat mole spreading misinformation and lies.

You think it's going to be the same Democrat turnout as 2012?

Hillary can't even keep the AA vote.

C’mon. I was here. I saw the hope and the disappointment. This board really believed McCain and Romney were going to win. You’re looking at it in hindsight.

Yes, polls have been wrong before and that’s what I’m hoping for, an unmeasured turnout in favor of Trump. Really, it’s possible, but lazy asses have to go to the polls in numbers that they haven’t in the recent past.

It’s silly to believe that everyone who questions the party line is a democrat mole. That’s unnecessary defensiveness, but is characteristic of this board for at least the last 15 year. I’m probably more conservative that you. I don’t believe the government should do anything but national defense, infrastructure and regulate interstate commerce. Everything else should be left to the states. Healthcare, education, pay for it yourself.

Tomorrow, I’ll head to my polling location in my crimson red parish and vote for Trump, Scalise and Fleming and hope to God I’m wrong about the presidential election.

Yes, you’ve made your opinion clear.

As LS told you; believe who you want to believe - we’ll see who’s right tomorrow.

No, what is silly is to rewrite history!

No one thought McCain was going to win in 08!

Especially since he shut down his campaign to play Senator and still sided with Bush!

Romney had good poll numbers, until the infamous picture with Chris Christie with O after the hurricane.

Just because there was some hopeful people on the threads, doesn't mean most of us didn't know Obama was going to win.

That is what really happened in both 08 and 12.

I was personally fairly sure McCain was going to lose. I thought Romney might pull it off because of Gallup and Ras and because we thought their pct model of the electorate was better than all the others.

This year, if I understand correctly, almost everyone has a model similar to Obama's model, that I truly think will be hard for HRC to pull off.

Obama had a movement in 08, and McCain didn't even try to win.

I think Trump is more of a movement, that is why I think we are going to see a record turnout.
