It rejected me. Boo and Hoo!
Actually, I put it off a bit to watch a show. LOL!
You KNOW I can’t go to sleep THIS early! :)
It’s not starting out really well...
I explained last night, multiple times, that the cleaning ladies were coming at 10a. Got a text from my sis about 1:30p, as I was driving to the doc, that I should call her as she was confused about the schedule as no one had come. All I could do was text back that I would call them when I had a chance. After the doc, and my second steroid shot, I sat in the parking lot and called the company. I was able to talk to Tiffany...she comes every time and even spends a little time with my Mom if she wants it. She said they came and when she went in the bedroom and said, Good morning, Mom woke up, said, Good morning, and went back to sleep. Tiffany said they did all the rest of the stuff on the list, but not Mom’s room.
That is #1. I’ve been waiting for this scenario...I told her that next time it happens just clean all around the bed...the dusting, the trash, whatever.
Then I came home and she was asleep. As soon as I said hello, she said, “you didn’t call me”. *sigh*
Fortunately my sis called just then, so I told my sis the sequence of events and left the room. I did hear her telling my sis about all the activity in front and all the men working. I wasn’t here, but IF on the OFF chance there were workmen anywhere in the cul-de-sac, there IS NO visual sign of anything disturbed.
Short term memory gets shorter and hallucinations run rampant.
Fingers crossed and prayers up.
I was wondering about the time. Way too early. LOL!
My current plan is holding out til 70...14 months.
Time will tell if I retire then or not. I love the idea, but I’m not ready to give up the paycheck while my Mom is still with us. The day is coming when I will need full-time “day care” for her. She wants to stay at home. I’m trying my best.
AND the big thing on my mind now is what will odumbo do to take all my retirement savings.
Shoot. Not sounding like a promising weekend, is it?
The memory is going to get worse and worse. Aunt Clara doesn’t know who I am any more by sight but eventually figures out who I am after a little explanation. Within 5 minutes, she’s forgotten again.
At least we don’t have the hallucination problem to deal with on top of it. Rough for your mom AND for you since you have to calm her down. :-(
Good evening/morning, spel, and thank you for the Friday Night Edition of the Salsa Addiction Emergency Room! ((HUGS))
She is so lucky to have you there with her. So much to deal with....and full time work, too. (((((hugs)))))
One day at a time is all we can do. It’s going to get worse and the nights get longer. She will have a much harder time figuring out day and night hours.
She finally said good night and the light is out. Quiet time for a bit. Then I need to get some sleep.

((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. How’s it going?
Yes, it does get harder as time goes on. Hubby’s aunt (by marriage) who lived at the farm next door reached to point of confusing the hours and his cousin had to put alarms on all the doors that go outside. She was still very mobile and would go out at night, and the alarms would go off if she opened a door. It was the only way his cousin could go to sleep at night and not have to worry about her slipping out.
At least your mom isn’t as mobile so you won’t have to worry about going that route. You have enough trouble getting to sleep through the night as things are.
Glad you have a little quiet time so you can unwind before going to bed. Hope you get to sleep through.
Thanks, my, for the video tunes for the troops. ((HUGS))
Yes, I must say I am thankful about the lack of mobility issue. One less thing I have to worry about. She can take the stair lift downstairs, but I don’t think she can walk far enough to get outside.
I think she understands that if she pushes her medical alert button, it might be the firefighters or police that come if I can’t make it. Hopefully she won’t ever try it.
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...good hunting weather today?
You and Bo have a great Saturday.
