Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has officially joined the Donald Trump campaign and has already hit the trail with Gov. Mike Pence in Iowa and Michigan.
After a heated primary season for the Republican Party, Trump and Cruz came out of the Republican National Convention with a less-than-friendly relationship.
"Sen. Cruz will join Gov. Pence in Iowa and Michigan today," Pence's press secretary Marc Lotter told USA TODAY. "Having Sen Cruz join the governor today underscores what he has been saying for the past few weeks and we are seeing happen across the country - it is time for Republicans to come home."
And he KNEW it wasn't Trump supporters or Trump who caused it. Heck, we knew it was provocateurs and we have no connections.
We need a court decision clarifying what the term means. I allowed my real identity to be known so I could testify for a hearing on a legislative bill trying to make a way for the courts to decide the issue so that it would not divide and/or confuse voters. I have suffered dearly for that.
But that is beside the point right now. Right now we have to figure out whether we are a united front or a bunch of back-stabbers to whoever would join to fight to save this nation from the lawlessness of the 2008 coup. Believing somebody is ineligible is NOT an excuse to spread innuendo and rumors without evidence. I thought we were better than that, but this election has opened my eyes to a lot of things.
Again, that’s water under the bridge - if we choose to let it be. If we keep dunking each other under that water even while we’re all supposedly trying to stay afloat and keep the country afloat, it’s a different story.
Time for people to decide how important gloating rights are, compared to a united front.
“danes”

Ha! I guess Lou Dobbs and other outlets have it all wrong.
If you have a link to cRuz saying he’s in IA today to support DJT as Pres, please post. I’ll be happy to send the correction to Fox.
Yes, I just remembered. It all points back to Kennedy’s assassination, time wise.
Thank you.
I had my doubts from the day he announced. I was willing to ignore those doubts; but eventually he confirmed them. He seems like a ‘politician’, who’s thinking of how he can get ahead, instead of thinking of the People and the Country.
(And, there was just something about him that reminded me too much of John Edwards...a thoroughly subjective thing, but one of those little ‘itches’ that you get, and can’t ignore.)
YOu spent the year juicily reporting rumors that even the purveyors of those rumors admitted had no factual basis. Yummy!
You’ve apparently made your choice. Sad.
Hi there, dearest Windy. If you happen to find out that our Sen cRuz has, in fact, uttered those exact words, please ping me. TIA.
If anybody else had followed his suit we wouldn’t have Loretta Lynch guarding the henhouse right now.
Nope, he’s not an ally. Can’t be....
Party spirit stinks.
I know what you mean.
I had a hard time putting my finger on it too, but over time he made it a lot easier.
Cruz isn’t an “ally”. He’s a calculating politician who’s trying to save his own hide for what will be a tough re-election campaign in 2018.
He showed his true colors during the primary and lost this Texan’s vote for good.
I had to vote for Rubio for Senate a couple of days ago despite his nonsense, we need the seat.
Cruz could do a better job of supporting Trump, but he is not a psychopath like Kasich.
I didn’t vote for him in the primary
Cruz giving them cover to score point in a political campaign was a "HUGE" mark against him that he may never overcome (at least in my view).
you need to just stop
I’m sick and tired of your insults
I supported him for V.P., POTUS, and then SCOTUS here, so don’t try and fly with the idea I wasn’t open to him.
I studied up Ted. I watched what he was up to. Over time, I couldn’t buy in any longer and I said so.
Don’t wax rhapsodic on me. It’s not flying.
Ted has nobody but himself to blame for my thoughts on him.
I have long had a nagging suspicion that Cruz has been acting as Trump’s “reserve”. It is often a really good idea to have someone outside the battle, to either act as a lightning rod or to give a boost in the final stretch.
The only proof there could ever be if this is true, is if Trump seemingly out of the blue offers Cruz an important role inside or outside of his administration. One such role, that Trump surely needs filled, is as a cabinet level hatchet man, whose purpose is to spend all his time purging the government, and even entire agencies.
It’s not like Cruzbots have returned to FR, so it’s all Good.
A direct quote from Cruz:
“Im here campaigning for Donald Trump, for Mike Pence.
I recognize some of you guys are wanting to write stories suggesting divisions among Republicans. Ill make a point, Im getting ready to get on a gigantic airplane that has Donald Trumps name painted on the side of it.
On Monday of this week I voted for Donald Trump. I voted for Mike Pence and Ill tell you, were just a few days away from election day and Im doing everything I can to defeat Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton would be an absolute disaster as president. Im doing everything I can to keep a Republican majority in the Senate.
As Mike pointed out I think there are many issues front and center in this election, but none is more important than the U.S. Supreme Court.”
