Gowdy puts on a good show, but that’s about it.

Now that you mention it I can see it.

By the way, if Trump had Rudy Giuliani in mind for DOJ, would it be politically beneficial (specifically for New York votes) for him to announce it before the election?

The first group of emails were found in a folder labeled “Life Insurance.” Was the name of the folder the new emails were found in labeled “It Wasn’t Suicide”?

I don’t think I’ve seen a single negative ad against Hillary here in Florida the entire election season. I wish Trump would hit her harder.

NRA just ran an ad (8:27 pm) against hillary during game seven of the World Series!

It’s amazing to me that Medved is still on the air. He has become the biggest loser.

Didn’t Hillary claim there was no evidence that hackers tried breaching the server?

Just another Clinton lie.

-- Once you hit the send button, it's too late. --

That's a fact. I was just considering cleaning the contents of one device. "Bleachbit" (or `bcwipe` or whatever floats your boat) can't justify being expensive. The point of it is to allow the drive to be repurposed, so at most, it can cost the replacement price of a drive. Smelting the drive is more certain to rid it of the data, and if smelting is cheaper than bleaching, it's a no-brainer.

I've been waiting for someone to point that out. As you mention, Bleachbit is open-source freeware. I also cringe a little when they talk about the emails being "acid-washed." It doesn't change the bottom line, which is that Hillary and her minions deleted the emails in a very deliberate manner to ensure that they couldn't be recovered, but I wonder if they just aren't technically savvy enough to understand what Bleachbit actually is, or if the phrasing is intentional to describe what was done in a way that the average non-technical person will understand.

Not important in the grand scheme of things.

"AG Lynch's DOJ is going to indict?"

She should start with herself.

Still waiting for Wikileaks Phase 3 to start. Assuming it will reveal emails from Hillary, that in itself could drive things forward at an accelerated pace.

Speaking of Bleachbit, does anyone understand why Trump and Rudy always make a point of saying how “expensive” it is? The software is freewared.

I'll take a wild guess--somebody found a whopping big invoice either charged to State Dept. or tax deduction for the Clinton Foundation or both for the BleachBit service--resulting in a hefty taxpayer cost for destroying evidence. No way HRC would pay for anything out of her fat bottom line.

I have a friend that “bleached” her hard drive when she left the local PD. She quit to go to another agency.

The PD actually asked the DA to consider indicting her for doing so.

Which is why I consider it hilarious that Hillary is trying to get out of it by saying that she simply deleted 30K emails that were personal in nature. Golly gee, Hill! That’s ok!

It’s incredible the amount of corruption that has been verified in email hacks and leaks. For years - decades! - there have been reports, suspicions, rumors and accusations, but never much hard evidence.

Now the list of verified corruption is too long to remember, all released within the last few weeks: debate questions given in advance, collusion with reporters, pay to play, slush funds, abuse of IRS, politicized DOJ, collusion between PACs and Party, collusion between government agencies and candidates, voter fraud, voter intimidation, false flag attacks at campaign events, foreign money in US elections, gun running to foreign drug cartels, gun running to foreign rebel groups including those terrorizing western interests, high office holders soliciting private funds, selling access to government, political pressure applied to FBI to dig dirt on opposition, cover-ups, payola, the setting up of private firms with the express purpose to create appearance of arms length and plausible deniability, the use of these private funds to reward fealty to government employees, selling seats on commerce dept missions, selling seats on commissions to political donors, selling US resources to foreign nationals who donate to private funds managed by office holders, selling ambassadorships to donors... And on and on

And what’s totally amazing, is that all of this is coming from the Democrats! Not one shred of evidence yet that the GOP does anything remotely to this scale. I am not naive enough to believe the GOP doesn’t have its demons and skeletons. More about the GOP may yet come out after the election. But so far, nothing serious or to this scale.

Try rebooting both the modem and router if the connection gets dodgy. Should clear it up for most setups. If not it’s a local issue affecting you, likely a period of high demand.
