I've been waiting for someone to point that out. As you mention, Bleachbit is open-source freeware. I also cringe a little when they talk about the emails being "acid-washed." It doesn't change the bottom line, which is that Hillary and her minions deleted the emails in a very deliberate manner to ensure that they couldn't be recovered, but I wonder if they just aren't technically savvy enough to understand what Bleachbit actually is, or if the phrasing is intentional to describe what was done in a way that the average non-technical person will understand.

Yes, “acid wash” and “bleach wash it” sounds much worse to the layman instead of a the program that overwrites the memory area with zeros and ones several times in accordance with Department of Defense DoD 5220-22.M manual, or set to overwrite with Guttman algorithm 35 passes. LoL.
