The FBI has released 129 pages of documents from a decade-old investigation into the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton's 11th-hour pardon of financier Marc Rich.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the FBI to publish the files Tuesday.

Chelsea doesn’t have her parents’ instincts for assembling a team of talented sycophants. Exhibit A: her husband is an enormous loser. What Chelsea Clinton’s husband and Ivanka Trump’s husband have in common is that both their father’s went to prison for white collar crime. The similarities end there. Ivanka’s husband channeled his chagrin over his father into working hard and building an impressive career. Also, he’s a manifestly devoted husband. Chelsea’s husband, on the other hand, had only not to humiliate her, yet a few months after they married, he quit his sinecure in New York and left to be a ski bum in Colorado...even though Chelsea had a job in New York. The guy made her look like a fool. With all her money and connections, Chelsea Clinton didn’t manage to marry someone who even cared enough about her not to embarrass her. Doesn’t bode well for surrounding herself with the type of slavishly devoted friends such as Lanny Davis you need for decades of chicanery and exploitation,
Nuthin to see here. Not doing anything illegal involving large sums of money or political power. Nuh-uh, not us........
The Clintons have been a nasty festering POX on this country.
FYI: Cankle daughter needs to be included in any indictments. I dont want my kids dealing with this $hit.
Me neither. Its the story behind the story - behind the story.
YES GOD BLESS the NYPD, but the administration has THROWN the entire country of PD officers under the bus, they have lost to many of their brothers because of these BASTARDS riling the masses!!! NOW KARMA is a HUGE bitch NYPD has them by the balls, This has been a divine intervention for these Godless BASTARDS!!!
They may get to see how Qaddafi, Saddam and the Ceausescu's felt toward the end. I'd love to see their faces when realization sets in.
Podesta brags DOJ’s Huma “investigation” spokesman Peter Kadzik “kept me out of jail”

John Podesta’s Best Friend at the DOJ ( Peter Kadzik ) will be in Charge of the DOJ’s Probe into Huma Abedin Emails.
Kadzik represented Podesta during the Monica Lewinsky investigation. Later , he got Monica a job at the UN.
Kadzik got the pardon for Marc Rich.

Something big is going on, that’s for certain. I hope whoever’s behind it is on the right side. I was just thinking, it’s a shame Aunt Virginia didn’t live to see this.
Something big is going on behind the scenes. Warning shots are being fired. I hope the good guys are on our side this time.
Marc Rich had divorced Denise at the time. Rich hadn’t been indicted. So basically Rich was an innocent man. How do you pardon an innocent man? Will Holder and Slick can figure out anything for enough money. Marc greased the palm Denise greased something else.
If the bent one is impeached he will lose his secret service protection and his lifetime pension. The Clinton library will be converted into a Wal-Mart.
Well, I wouldn’t mind all that.
It could be a big deal after all. Thanks.
I think they are doing this to rile up the base. It is going to backfire on them like the French Revolution...
Just keep in mind, nobody of the elites want Trump as President.
All of this may be a last ditch effort to cause enough panic in the voting base to cause civil unrest.
Seriously think about it. All this dumped and Trump wins? What is the liberal public response? What are they going to be screaming for weeks on end about? The FBI played politics?
I don’t blame you for being paranoid, I am quite there myself with what appears to me to be an orchestrated crisis just before the election.
Rich and Green were under indictment.

Rich offered $100 million to settle the charges. The offer was refused.

My guess is that the Clintons increased the $ amount and made the deal.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Meltzer has a slim history of giving money to candidates, giving only $1,000 to a congressional candidate. But in 2007 he gave the maximum allowed to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Three of Marc Richs attorneys, Peter Kadzik, Robert Fink and Jack Quinn, also a former counsel at the Clinton White House, have donated to Hillarys campaigns. Quinn has given between $25,000 and $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
According to Jack Quinn, Kadzik was hired at the suggestion of Michael Green, ... (because he was trusted by Podesta).

Clinton's top three White House attorneys were expected to say that they told the president that the Rich pardon was a bad idea. The witnesses include John Podesta, Clinton's chief of staff, Beth Nolan, the White House counsel, and Bruce Lindsey, a long-time aide to Clinton.
The committee, chaired by Rep. Dan Burton (R-Ind.), also has obtained information regarding Podesta’s personal attorney, Peter Kadzik. Letters released by the committee today reveal that Kadzik lobbied his own client on behalf of Rich, who has been represented by other attorneys in his firm.
(snip)
Kadzik, who also is set to testify, works at Dickstein, Shapiro, Morin & Oshinsky, where Rich's longtime attorney Mike Green works. Kadzik has told the committee that he was retained to work on the Rich pardon and that he was involved in contacting his client, Podesta.
(snip)
Earlier in the month, on Jan. 2, Fink writes in an e-mail about “Mike's friend,” who is described as “the friend of the chief of staff.” The committee is expected to ask if the “friend” of Podesta’s is Kadzik.
I've had that same thought, especially seeing Uncle Joe on the campaign trail more and more.Setting him up?
However, the liberals are all for early voting/mail in voting etc. Has this messed a last minute change up for them? How do you tell someone who has already voted for Hitery - on the sole basis they like Donald less - that their vote now counts for Uncle Joe or other? I can see the Bernie -ites go nuts.
I see YEARS of legal challenges. Result? We have Paul Ryan is POTUS until settled (Speaker becomes POTUS if no election result by Jan 20)
Me? I'm buying lots of popcorn, Kit Cat. This may get interesting.
In 2002, Comey, then a federal prosecutor, took over an investigation into President Bill Clintons 2001 pardon of financier Marc Rich, who had been indicted on a laundry list of charges before fleeing the country. The decision set off a political firestorm focused on accusations that Richs ex-wife Denise made donations to the Democratic Party, the Clinton Library and Hillary Clintons 2000 Senate campaign as part of a plan to get Rich off the hook. Comey ultimately decided not to pursue the case.
The kicker: Comey himself had overseen Richs prosecution between 1987 and 1993.

The Clinton Pardons
THE FACE OF SCANDAL
(snip)
Every year there was a new initiative, says Comey, who in 1992 joined Otto Obermaier, then U.S. attorney for the Southern District, at a meeting in Switzerland with Rich and Green and their lawyers. Comey says they had been led to believe that the two men were ready to plead. But it quickly became apparent to us they wanted to explain their enormous good works and debate the merits of the case.
(snip)
At one point Garment hired two tax experts, Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburgs husband, Martin Ginsburg, and Harvard professor Bernard Wolfman, for more than $70,000. They rendered an opinion that, according to the facts given themwhich prosecutors insist were far from completeRich and Green were technically not guilty of criminal tax evasion. Comey says Garment came to see him with a flip chart and said, Yes, its true [Richs] companies kept two sets of books, and it appears they desperately tried to commit a crime. But then their actions were compared to those of a car thief intending to steal a car: Having larceny in his heart, he breaks into the car in the dark of night and drives it away only to find its his own car! Comey adds wryly that this argument lacked a certain appeal. But that opinion is pretty close to the heart of the petition Clinton responded to with a pardon, ostensibly convinced that Rudolph Giulianis original indictment was flawed and that Richs actions warranted at most civil penalties.
Great work—thanks!

He said he uses similar tactics that parents use on children. Youd still be looking at your shoes when you were supposed to be looking at your mother, you ran away, you hid stuff-anything like that indicates that you knew that you were doing wrong. In the grown-up world, Mr. Comey continued, we look at things like shredding documents, fleeing and lying. And as I have said a number of times, e-mail was the 20th centurys greatest gift to law enforcement, because it never goes away, despite what people think. Mr. Comey said that hes read e-mails which include lines like: I just hope the S.E.C. doesnt find out what were doing here.
When you see stuff like that, that helps you understand what goes on inside somebodys head, Mr. Comey said. They also tend to have very good lawyers who are paid a lot of money.
The problem they had was PROVING crime had been committed.
BUT! Guess who one of Clinton’s lawyers was???
None other than Peter Kadzik!!!
Must recuse.
