The ABC/Washington Post tracking poll shows that Trump is now at 44 percent, while Hillary Clinton still leads at 48 percent.
After reaching a polling low of 38 percent on October 22 amid a series of accusations from women and leaked eleven year old audio featuring lewd comments, Trump’s support has ticked back up six points to put him within striking distance of Clinton.
Clinton reached a high of 50 percent on October 22, but has since fallen two points to 48 percent.
The Clinton campaign sent a warning to supporters on Thursday that the polls were tightening.

The thing that amuses me about these is that this is a heavily skewed poll and even IT has Trump gaining momentum.
Note another thing and look for it or the lack of mentioning it: Trump is gaining serious momentum with independents. On any normal election year you would hear the pundits claim that the Republican candidate must gather independent voters to win.
You will not hear them say this this year. Ask yourself why.
It’s coming folks.
If Hillary has the election in the bag, it doesn’t explain her play prevent defense campaigning.
You don’t do that if you’re winning.
No confidence from her campaign whatsoever.
The liberals I know actually seem to be taking it fairly well in stride so far, probably relieved in large part to be free of defending Clinton.
ABC News Tracking 10/10 to 10/13 had Hillary +4.
ABC News Tracking 10/20 to 10/23 had Hillary +12.
ABC News Tracking 10/21 to 10/24 had Hillary +8.
ABC News Tracking 10/23 to 10/26 had Hillary +5.
It looks to me like polling from 10/20 to 10/23 was an anomaly. Those results are disappearing from the database, and the ABC result is returning to the real result for their sampling scheme (not necessarily the actual likely voters for Election Day). I wonder how much of that polling glitch was coordinated with ABC by the Hillary Campaign and faked to look like the tape had sunk Trump’s candidacy.

Next they will be pulling a rabbit out of a hat or inviting foes to step into a magic box - then disappearing as a puff of smoke.

They may say *something*, but their goal is her being elected.
Not too surprising a move considering Trump hasn’t had any noteworthy new negative stories in a week or two but the Clinton WikiLeaks continue.
Makes me think that if Trump wins, Time will pass on him for man of the year and make it Julian Assange instead.
I don’t believe he ever LOST momentum, not in any true sense; perhaps in the fevered imaginations of leftist reporters.
Planned and executed but maybe to no avail. Launch the attack right before the 3rd debate, attack and then declare massive victory. I wonder if in some circles beyond hardcore Trump supporters, it only ticked people off especially when the attack comes from an enabler like Hillary. The only trouble in all the plan is Trump fights back and that probably motivates others to fight back also. Jeb is still sad.

Before the start of every presidential campaign we are reminded that the polls will tighten as election day nears. And, lo and behold, it always happens. Pollsters don’t want to be caught way off base.
Poll numbers aside, this translates as:
“Oh no! Trump hasn’t conceded the election yet so those of us in the media better get another set of fraudulent “October Surprise” charges to hit Trump with just before election day”.
Nobody can possibly believe that our totally bought and controlled media in this country is just going to sit back from now until election day and not redouble their efforts to destroy Trump, can they?
Yep. Give it another week and they will be confounded about how Trump now has the lead. How did this happen?

Ellection fraud only goes so far, then they have to report the truth about the what the polls say. They have a "reputation" to defend. Then at the next election speaking only of the LAST poll taken before the election, they can say how close they were to the truth.

You can bet your last dollar Democrats will bring out another sleazy accusation before Trump starts to really pull away. Think: Bush’s decades old DUI the weekend before the election.
