Before the start of every presidential campaign we are reminded that the polls will tighten as election day nears. And, lo and behold, it always happens. Pollsters don’t want to be caught way off base

Ellection fraud only goes so far, then they have to report the truth about the what the polls say. They have a "reputation" to defend. Then at the next election speaking only of the LAST poll taken before the election, they can say how close they were to the truth.
