A video excerpt from liberal Michael Moore is taking the internet by storm. But its not Moores loyal fans singing his praises for a passionate political confession its Donald Trumps supporters who are doing the cheering.
In the speech that was given before an audience in Ohio, reportedly for the film Trumpland, Moore delves deep into the mindset of Trumps appeal.
But first, he shockingly starts out by defending Trump supporters.
Theyre not racists or rednecks, theyre actually pretty decent people. So, after talking to a number of them, I sort of wanted to sort of write this.
Moore went on to read a piece where he shares what he believes is the momentum behind the Trump movement. He recounts Trumps visit to Detroit, where he had talked of the citys dismal economy and it apparently left a deep impression on Moore.
Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said: if you close these factories, as you are planning to do in Detroit, and rebuild them in Mexico, I am going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobodys going to buy them.
It was an amazing thing to see.
No politician Republican or Democrat had ever said anything like that to these executives. It was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Brexit states. You live here in Ohio. You know what I am talking about.
Moore went on to talk of the forgotten man, who works hard if he or she is lucky enough to have a job and continually gets screwed by the very representatives who are supposed to have their backs.

I’m not talking about movies, books etc.
I’m talking about his comments on why Americans are voting Trump and why Trump will win. And Moore was 100% correct.
Try to keep up.
Shut up you sanctimonious cretin. Find something else to do then post to me.
Check post 47 for the full video. The part posted here is out of context.

Moore is deliberately deceptive, and the audience falls for it. Psychological manipulation at it’s best.
Everything Moore says after the out of context part matters. It matters because it convinced those in the room and many others to vote Hillary. That is why it’s stupid to pretend that the out of context part of what Moore said has any meaning in our universe. It has meaning in the elitist parallel universe, but that’s not where Trump and his supporters live.
His comment

Is from his movie Trumpland (at the 21:00 min mark)

Beware of wolves in sheep clothing
MAGA
Is this a difficult point to understand?
WHO CARES!!!!!!
.
I’ll leave you two to play in the same cesspool you were born in.
.
Oh stop, I’ve seen his comments on why Trump will win and why Americans are voting for Trump. Moore was 100% correct. Yes he did follow it by speculating they’d regret electing Trump, but it was pure speculation following those comments.
There was nothing covert or hidden in his comments. Regarding the above, he told it exactly like it is.
Oh good, you’re leaving. See ya!
“praising this passage will backfire on us.”
Yeah, sure it will.
Stop trying to over think this.
It’s like a solider in WW2 picking up a German rifle to shoot at the Nazis and then after firing it, he panicked because people will now say “See! You accept Nazism because you picked up their gun and fired it!!!”.
You live in the cesspool.
.
No I was just there to post to you.
It isnt about Michael Moore or even, in a way, about Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Its about God.

Americans aren’t God’s “Chosen People”. I find it difficult to either praise or blame God for this election, one way or another. Considering the sordid past of this country, we’re very lucky if God hasn’t abandoned us entirely. Did God initiate or approve slavery, Manifest Destiny, the Mexican War, the Spanish American War, VietNam, or numerous other wars waged for the financial benefit of industrialists? Did God approve open homosexuality, or homosexual marriage? Did God give us abortion which has killed over sixty million innocents? Did God help us build a government with corruption unparalleled in world history?
And did God give His guidance to ABANDON ISRAEL?
The Founding Fathers, though most were extremely wealthy for the time, did have the interests of the people and the fledgling country at heart, I believe. But merely because they founded it as a Christian country and “in the name of God”, doesn’t necessarily mean God was in on the deal.
God guides the hearts of men, at least if they seek His guidance, not countries or political parties. Even in ancient Israel it was the people who God guided, not the king or the state, and through individual sacrifice and devotion they made Israel great. At times the United States has shown exceptionalism and greatness, but it has always been the individual citizens who made it that way, not any political party or candidate. The more the people sink into the cesspool of state corruption, the less reason God has to bless whatever is left of this country.
Well dragnet2 seems to care enough to act like what comes after the out of context part doesn’t matter.
It matters because it illustrates how the elitists have managed to brainwash enough people to keep winning elections.
I just saw a poll that showed Hillary ahead, in the same poll the respondents think the country is headed in the wrong direction. How can both positions logically co-exist? They can’t.
But because of people like Moore explaining away the cognitive dissonance Hillary voters have they feel they can logically hold both positions.
They don’t realize they get stuck staring at one tree until they are so cross-eyed they think the fuzzy thing they see is the whole forest. Manipulative elitists like Moore play a big part convincing them it is the whole forest. It’s not.
The full movie 'Trumpland' was just taken off of YouTube for copyright reasons (it's in theaters now)
You can take a snip of a Hillary speech and say "Hey, she's right, she's great, she's speaking truth" But...you would never say that because you know otherwise....please don't say that about Michael Moore's video snip from his movie Trumpland unless you've seen the whole thing.
Great post!
Thank you!
Sounds like a strawman discourse to me.
Why would you be talking about “blaming God” at all? That alone is reason to stop listening to you, let alone a myriad of other details.
