A video excerpt from liberal Michael Moore is taking the internet by storm. But its not Moores loyal fans singing his praises for a passionate political confession its Donald Trumps supporters who are doing the cheering.
In the speech that was given before an audience in Ohio, reportedly for the film Trumpland, Moore delves deep into the mindset of Trumps appeal.
But first, he shockingly starts out by defending Trump supporters.
Theyre not racists or rednecks, theyre actually pretty decent people. So, after talking to a number of them, I sort of wanted to sort of write this.
Moore went on to read a piece where he shares what he believes is the momentum behind the Trump movement. He recounts Trumps visit to Detroit, where he had talked of the citys dismal economy and it apparently left a deep impression on Moore.
Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said: if you close these factories, as you are planning to do in Detroit, and rebuild them in Mexico, I am going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobodys going to buy them.
It was an amazing thing to see.
No politician Republican or Democrat had ever said anything like that to these executives. It was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Brexit states. You live here in Ohio. You know what I am talking about.
Moore went on to talk of the forgotten man, who works hard if he or she is lucky enough to have a job and continually gets screwed by the very representatives who are supposed to have their backs.

So you have no examples of it effecting votes??
Though so.
Read 120.
I know the clip is out there on facebook. People posting it felt used when they realized it was out of context.
That is what I have seen.
“People posting it felt used when they realized it was out of context.”
Yeah suuuuurrrrrre they said that. Uh huh.
If you need to make stuff up, at least try harder than “they felt used”.
I was ready to blast Moore, like I would that sniveling POS Maher, but I listened.
What he said was true, and perhaps it would help. He’s more or less simply stating the obvious. But if it helps get people out to vote for trump, good.
I still don’t think much of him but he told the truth.
I’m concerned because it’s stupid to use an out of context clip as if it’s the whole truth.
If you want to call that “hiney-hurt” it says more about you than me.
It would be far better to use what Moore said, in context, to show how elitists brainwash people and use them to keep winning elections. That is the whole story, it is the sotry that actually matters, and it is what actually might penetrate and change a vote. People don’t like to be manipulated and used. Many people that have come to realize they have been manipulated for many years have turned to Trump. That is how what Moore said should be used.
Telling lies of omission is just more deceptive manipulation. There is no logical or moral defense for it which is why you are attacking me personally.
They did, and I have examples;
“Wow I had no idea. Shoulda dug a little deeper. I stand corrected. Well all my previous opinions of Michael Moore are hereby reinstated....

“Nevermind that video clip is bunk”
“So you have no examples of it effecting votes??”
Do you think I’m going out there running a damn polling outfit?
Like why is it MY responsibility to have info like that so that in the case of some bloody twit crying over this being spread, will demand some data so that he can be satisfied and stop crying about it?
Do you have hard data for your assertion other than your made up Facebook fainting couch posts about “feeling used”?
Check post 47, the clip is severely out of context.
Read 120 and 125.
Not repeating myself.
Yeah, that is more in line. To think he may have been rational was wishful thinking.
Sometimes tho, these liberal POS have an epiphany. Maher has said some things that make sense, but his desire is only to caution extremist liberals they could damage their cause in public opinion.
A lie of omission is not telling the whole truth. Posting that clip as if it is the whole in-context truth is an exact and clear example of a lie of omission.
People on Facebook were posting that Moore changed his vote to Trump. When they realize the truth is the exact opposite they feel used by the people promoting the out of context clip as if it is pro Trump. It could be pro Trump if used in context to show how elitists manipulate and brainwash people to vote for Hillary. That is what was actually happening in that room. It was a textbook example of deliberate psychological manipulation that actually worked to produce the desired outcome. Explain that on facebook could actually have a positive effect on the election. Plus it would be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
“Not repeating myself.”
GOOD!
So maybe you will stop wasting everyone’s time trying to protect the integrity of Moore.
Moore is saying this because he takes the condescending attitude of many leftists, i.e. "working people don't know what's best for them, they're good people, but they ought to let us tell them what's best for them so that they support socialists like Bernie Sanders instead of right-wing populists like Trump."
Granted, it's a more intelligent strategy for winning people over to your side than just dismissing them as subhuman deplorables as Hillary did, but it's condescending and dishonest nonetheless.
That’s it!?
Two whole guys that stop thinking that Moore may be a “good guy”?
Way to miss the damn point YET AGAIN.
For the 10000th time THIS ISN’T ABOUT HIM. What you think of him personally is irrelevant.
My liberal “friends” on Facebook will watch a clip of Michael Moore. They won’t watch a clip of Rush Limbaugh. Use the clip.
Oh for STUPID!
I am not “trying to protect the integrity of Moore”. Far from it. That thought exists only in your hallucination.
What Moore said should be used IN CONTEXT against him and his fellow elitists in the way that I describe in posts 120, 125, 131.
Moore and elitists of his ilk have no integrity to protect because of their blatant and deliberate manipulation of voters to win elections. That is how Obama got elected twice. If Hillary wins it will be why she won. THAT is the story to tell.
dynoman thinks there is something nefarious, hidden or covert about Moore stating Trump was going to win and why Americans are voting for Trump. Near the end of the video Moore speculated and stated he believed they’d regret voting for Trump. That’s it.
This lightweight dynoman thinks there is some kind of conspiracy here to trick Trump supports. dynoman is a real know nothing, political lightweight.
Trump ought to use some of this in a commercial!

What will happen when they watch what he says after the out of context clip ends?
Most will wonder enough to find the rest of the clip - because the idea that Moore switched to promoting Trump is absurd. Especially to liberals.
“What Moore said should be used IN CONTEXT against him”
Is that in that wonderful “Queensbury Rules For Morons That Like To Lose Elections” : Right of center edition?
We are using the part that works for us AGAINST him.
Do you also have this hard of a stick up your ass because people adopted “basket of deplorables” against Hillary or are you moaning that “you need to hear the entire context!!!!! This isnt fair!!!!!!!!!!” too?
I’m still waiting for the big trick that they keep talking about.
