I doubt independents are going to vote for America's Mother-in-Law.

WTF? North Carolina has 100 Counties? I guess they are each about as big as a phone booth.

I grew up in Cleveland County and there’s more D’s then R’s but over the last 20 years the R’s control everything with the exception of the Sheriff’s office and register of deeds, the current NC speaker of the house is from Cleveland County

Just like in 2012, at the moment, the Democrats hold a clear advantage over the Republicans in North Carolina. According to the North Carolina Board of Elections, as of October 22nd, 2.7 million Democrats have voted in North Carolina compared to 2.1 million Republicans. About 31,000 Libertarians have voted, and another two million people have voted who are not affiliated with any party.

So there have been 6.5 million early votes in North Carolina so far when only about 4.4 million total votes were cast in 2012? Where did they all come from?

Wikipedia lists the population in NC at 2015 to be about 10 million people (including children). This article is saying 2.7 million Dems voted early, 2 million already voted that are Republicans, and 2 million independents have voted. 67% of the population of the state already voted? That’s like 100% of eligible voters. Who is this joker?

Total LIE 2.7 million Democrats Have Not Voted, that is the number of REGISTERED Democrats in NC. Either you are Lying on Propose, or massively Misinformed.

Honestly I am amused at people grasping at whatever they can to somehow, someway, create a reality.

Trump is not going to win in a landslide. He might win, but it will be very close...mirroring previous Republican victories this millennium.

Bear in mind just about every battleground state has big cities, and the votes in those cities rarely go Republican. That due as much to culture as demographics.

And every county is stuff FULL of Democratic officials posing as public employees. They are the people who will tally the votes...each and every one of them can come up with an extra 10,000 or more votes as needed to offset the "rednecks" in the country.

There may not be enough of us.

The dead are the unaffiliated, the illegals are the unaffiliated. Do you really think those ballots are going to hold Trump votes?

I saw my first Clinton/Kaine signs today in North Carolina. There aren’t any over the border in East Tennessee, so my wife and I wandered over into the ‘comfortable shoe zones’ north of Asheville (Hot Springs, Weaverville); and there they were.

Ridiculous numbers? [ I was ready to post then went out - looks like I'm not the only one wondering about these numbers ...]

"Just like in 2012, at the moment, the Democrats hold a clear advantage over the Republicans in North Carolina. According to the North Carolina Board of Elections, as of October 22nd, 2.7 million Democrats have voted in North Carolina compared to 2.1 million Republicans. About 31,000 Libertarians have voted, and another two million people have voted who are not affiliated with any party."

Wiki says NC has a total 10 million population. Assuming 3 days from 10/22 added say 200,000 and they've got 70% of the entire state already having voted.

Nationally, a 2012 PEW study has 43% never registered or lapsed (2008) plus they must have 10% less than 18 - non-voters. In 2012 (Obama/Romney) the total vote, per this article, was 4.6 million. Almost three million more voters have already voted?

Any thoughts?

Actually nevermind - my only thought is this is a DEM article to push for DEM votes by making the race look close and there are more registered DEMS in NC ... glad that others picked up on the strange numbers. Kudos.]
