Hey, Louis, your comment gives me an idea.
We know that no Pulitzer Prize is ever going to be awarded to Julian Assange. And he sure doesn't need/want the elite journalism class patting him on the back.
But why can't we FReepers give out an annual award/recognition to a public figure who moves American freedom forward? A guy like Julian might truly appreciate an award from the largest freedom of speech forum in the U.S.
In fact we can ask FReepers to nominate their favorites and poll every FReeper to elect someone! What say y'all?
People don’t seem to understand yet that there is no longer any such thing as “Illegal” when citizens see the highest officials and institutions blatantly disregard the law of the land and throw it in our faces. Legal/illegal has lost all meaning. Anything you can get away with is now “legal” - if you can smuggle documents from the National Archives, cross the border at will, do the long list of things the Clintons have done, and still not only get away with it but be treated with awe and respect, nobody can expect the populace to worry about “legality”. They have made the law a joke and an evil tool.
I think as long as someone is talking about him, he’s happy.

Does anyone wonder if Glenn Beck was always an agent of the DNC. He came out with his FOX show, and was instrumental in the Tea Party movement, then he slowly inched left presuming his base would follow? I know the idea might be way out there, but it seems like what happened.
I believe at least one email indicated that Beck was on the payroll of the Clinton Crime Foundation.
WIKI is nothing compared to the NSA, but no one complains about the NSA in the media.
