Am I the only one somewhat put off by the Heineken Light TV spot with Neil P. Harris asking if it's OK to flip another man's meat?
T'ain't funny, McGee. I'll never buy a Heineken light.

About a decade ago I saw that Heineken’s was a sponsor of the Folsom street fair, that extravaganza of public gay sex in San Francisco. Have not followed either issue since that initial extremely disgusting report.

That beer tastes like crap anyway. Now there’s another reason not to buy it.

I remember that Frank in “Blue Velvet” did not like Heineken at all. He liked Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Yes, vulgar. For some reason the ad men think this will resonate with beer drinking Americans?? Out of touch! And unnecessary vulgarity.

The ad is offensive. It is obviously a sophomoric attempt - reinforced by the use of a homosexual actor - to make a thinly-disguised “cute” reference to homosexual behavior. Ha ha. It is typical of the moronic paganism that increasingly infects corporate advertising.

No you’re not alone.
This is a finger in the eye of straight society, and a violation of all of us who desire any standards of decorum at all.
Since the ad features openly homosexual actor Neil Patrick Harris, they knew exactly what they were doing, and wanted to stick their fingers in our eyes. There’s no double meaning, possible misinterpretation or any of that going on. They are slamming us over the head with it.
