Thank you Maggie. Yup, I’m in the Northeast and am still being affected.

British posters on twitter said the cops do NOT normally have guns.
But if this photo was taken Tuesday, then what’s going on with Assange today? Has anybody seen him? Do we know if he is safe?
To: wastoute
But what if you are holding one of Assange's data dumps and find out that another was "shot while escaping"?
Do you stand firm?
Release the data now and hope that they were interested in prevention rather than revenge?
Hunker down and hope your release day comes before you get a midnight knock on the door with a battering ram?
Leave your servers online ready to release the data automatically while you go on the lam?
Delete everything and confess your "sins"?
How much redundancy is there if some of the holders break?

I would bet that Assanges’ “dead man switch” is epic....

I think you are assigning far too much human element to what is required.

The ^real^ question here is...What does Ecuador gain by giving sanctuary to Assange?
Follow the money.

I have always believed the rape charges were either fabricated, or they were deliberate honey traps (a freeper already told me the “honey pots” phrase I was using was incorrect. Sorry all, At 76 I’m having trouble keeping up with the phrasing.)

How many pallets of cash from the Obama Regime would it take to bribe Equator into turning Assange?

Assange is so clever. He used to do puppet shows. Now he is doing his greatest puppet show of all and showing us the puppets and the puppet masters. Only the high powered puppets don’t like his show!
To: Hardastarboard
That is a great idea, if it is workable. Ecuador appoints Assange as an Ambassador and he could get all the way back to Australia. The reason, IMO, if Assange IS still there and in no immediate physical harm, is that Assange has reportedly something on Ecuador’s P.M. Correa (sp?). Freepers were saying Correa has a tough election coming up so Assange may be safe until that election.
