An Ohio(?) man who describes himself as a postal worker bragged online this weekend about destroying Donald Trump absentee ballots.
This was posted by Twitter user Randygbub on Sunday
Of course, Republican users were outraged to see this leftist brag about his criminal activity.
Actor Scott Baio tweeted this out on the alleged crime:

I hope you get fired! Cheating is the only way she'll win. @realDonaldTrump Hey @JohnKasich is this okay with you? https://twitter.com/randygdub/status/787747220267278336 12:04 AM - 17 Oct 2016
So will authorities follow up on this?
I call BS on this one. To know if that ballot is for one party or another, they would have to open it, and if the ballot is opened, the ballot is thrown out.
But, I will take mine to the county offices today and deliver it in person.
Should be fired, prosecuted, convicted, and jailed (for life to set an example). Zero tolerance.
The 2nd amendment is a bulwark against tyranny. If this person were to be made an example of, if the DOJ won’t investigate, probably others won’t try - or at least try and brag

In OH, a person can go to the polls and fill in a provisional ballot if they were sent an absentee ballot that was not mailed back. If someone knew which ballots were destroyed in the mailing process, there's room for mischief.
I would recommend against anything but voting in person on the day of the election unless it's absolutely necessary. A person who got that ballot but didn't mail it in would have to vote provisionally. For those who did vote absentee, they probably should check that the vote arrived.
Am I making any sense?
I’m guessing (and I hope for his sake) that this is just some stupid kid who doesn’t work for Postal Service. As someone who worked for the Postal Inspector General’s Office for several years, I can assure you that they do take this stuff VERY seriously and it will be looked into (at least to verify if the poster is an actual employee or not). Heck, what he posted was a fireable offense even if he wasn’t actually doing it. What he was claiming to do would actually be really difficult (at least to get away with). The postal sorting centers optically scan all election material and handle them in a high security area normally reserved for insured and registered mail. In these areas, video cameras monitor the mail handlers at all times. Also the handlers receive extensive training and are read the riot act every election season about the consequences of impeding or destroying election material (two federal felonies, destroying mail and election tampering).
Oh hell, this is just some student from Duh Ohio State University
yanking people’s chains.
I think we should clamp down on Absentee & Early voting. You need a damn good reason to vote by mail or early. You cant vote when you feel like it.
How do we know if they aren’t ripping up the original documents and replacing them with their own?
Wasn’t John K St.’so father a postal employee? Lol.
This. It is a time-waster. Nonetheless, I think that a call to the Postal Inspectors would be warranted - at least get the guy investigated.
I’m guessing it’s bogus... it’s possible but I doubt anyone is that stupid.
“Those that gave their lives defending this country must be turning over in their graves.”
I’ve always thought election fraud should be a capital crime. It is after all retail efforts to subvert and overthrow legitimate government.
How would he know which ones were votes for Trump unless he opened each one?
I doubt he did this because as a postal worker he would know that would be a federal crime (either opening mail or destroying it) with some serious punishments. He probably just bragging.
However, some people are just plain stupid. He should be investigated.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Robert Creamer’s group had ‘operatives’ in the Post Office.
Project Veritas could find this out.
Postal “worker”??
No such thing!
Years ago (1969) there was a ring of thieves at the PO in DC (surprise, surprise). They stole a credit card that Lord & Taylor mailed to me when I had a change of address. One of the women clerks went to the L&T to use the card for a $54 purchase. My maiden name was very ethnically Irish. The buyer/PO Clerk was visibly ethnically NOT Irish. Maybe “Black Irish.”
The Celtic clerk recognized the disconnect between her appearance and the name on the card, called security. That woman and her entire ring of postal thieves not only lost their jobs, they lost any ability ever to hold a government job, and, as I recall, several of them did time.
