I never, not for one second, thought that the San Antonio political machine was in favor of Trump. In fact, I assumed they were opposed to him. Now I know they are opposed.
I doubt their people will fall in line behind their denounciation.
Debating whether my 12 year old son and I should skip homeschool co-op today and go to the Trump rally in Lakeland instead.
You do good to keep away from the news, if it upsets you. It is misleading and incendiary garbage, meant to dispirit the people. Even after Trump wins, the press will be of that nature. Not better, worse.
Pray for the people to awaken, and to (best we can) behave as God intenends. The rest works itself out.
We homeschooled our three kids up to about high school. Other than lots of reading and treating them with honesty, we did a half-baked job of educating them. Maybe 5 hours a week, on average, over the course of 10 years. How did they do in school? Excellent! Shocked me, actually. I figured they'd have an age/education disadvantage.
Kids (and adults) learn very fast, on a situational basis. I learned more in 3 months on the job than I did in 4 years of engineering, by way of concrete example. I needed the education background, but basically NONE of what I did on the job depended on what I had learned in school. I needed the ticket to get the job.
