I dont know how to write this post without unintentionally disrespecting the real victims of abuse in any form. I apologize in advance if it comes off that way. But its part of the national conversation now, and unavoidable. The best I can do is focus on how voters perceive the situation. I dont have an opinion about who did what to whom because I wasnt in the room any of those times. That said
We fine citizens of the United States find ourselves playing some sort of sex abuse poker in which we have to assign value to various alleged sex crimes to see which alleged rapist/groper/enabler combination we want to inhabit the White House and represent our national brand. Lets call that situation not ideal.
My view is that if either Clinton or Trump can be judged by the weight of the allegations against them, both are 100% unfit for the office. I think Trump supporters think its worth the hit to our national brand just to get some specific improvements in the country.
Clinton supporters have been telling me for a few days that any visible support for Trump makes you a supporter of sex abuse. From a persuasion standpoint, that actually makes sense. If people see it that way, thats the reality you have to deal with. I choose to not be part of that reality so I moved my endorsement to Gary Johnson.
I encourage all Clinton supporters to do the same, and for the same reason. I dont know if any of the allegations against the Clintons are true, but since we are judging each other on associations, you dont want to be seen as supporting sex abuse by putting an alleged duo of abusers (the perp and the clean-up crew) into office...

It’s satire
I have no idea what you might think you are talking about here.
Scott Adams has provided a very perspicacious analysis of the election from the standpoint of "persuasion theory."
He’s showing the hypocrisy of the left.
‘See I’m unwilling to support a retrobate so I urge all liberals to do the same.’
You’re smarter than this, Tali. Adams is jabbing Clinton and trying to pry off some of supporters.
Adams is pulling a Master Persuader technique here...Jeez, don’t go squishy. He is appealing to those LIV democrats...(Like any of them will actually read his blog)
He never supported Hillary. In the same sentence that he said he supported Hillary he wrote that he did so so that he wouldn’t be persecuted. It was very sarcastic and accurate.
Many years ago, whenever I took cabs, they always seemed to be tuned to the Stern show. Of course, tht was when the drivers were citizens, and Stern was on terrestrial radio
Yep, that's what he says he's doing. He also says we're all too stupid to have any of our own thoughts. That's why, you see, he has to tell us what we think.
What I think is that he's laughing his ass off at how gullible everyone is just because he's declared himself a "master persuader."
I say, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, and think for yourself.
True. Remember, Adams was supporting Clinton... for his personal safety.
I understand, he dazzled me too.
For awhile.
His early "support" of Clinton was a parody about people being whacked if they go against the Clintons.

This is total BS. So is the part where you claim he tells us what to think. If he didn't believe you could thing he wouldn't explain to you how persuasion works. Instead he expects you to take the things he says and see if you can apply them to what is going on.
And, if you understand persuasion theory, they you understand how people make decisions when they don't think. And then, once you understand how people are manipulated, you can understand when you do think, that is if you can think.
Well, we shall see.
Stern and Mr. Trump are New Yorkers, similar in age, and accomplishment in their field since the early 1980’s.
NYC is all about titillation.
Tri-state listeners have been weened on that kind of humor and don’t find it as offensive like flyover country - bible belt folks might.
I don't find anything funny about Stern. Rather he's a symptom of the degeneracy of America. So it's better for an intelligent person not to associate with him.
New York values.
And while he may be using his Master Persuader stuff on his blog...he is also trying to sell his books...
And with all the pontificating out there, one should take it all with a grain of salt. But for the most part I like Adams inso much as it re-affirms my confirmation bias. Why do I want to go to Huff-Po and get depressed.
Wifey was watching cable news this weekend getting upset...I told her to change the channel...Watch Kardashians...anything to calm the nerves.
She...like moi...will be crawling over broken glass to vote for Trump.. She doesn’t like the language (ala Trump Tape)..but says she heard worse when she used to hang with MLB, NFL types years back...
Well thereby ago - I can't think.
Problem solved. Thanks for enlightening me.
Well, we shall see.
Nothing to see here, move along.
I'm now officially approving of Scott Adams on FR.
For my safety.
Quite brazenly, too! I wouldn't leave my paypal account password lying around anywhere near his reach.
