Donald Trump will probably lose the election. But he is a final warning. Unless political elites of both the left and the right become more humble, unless they once again ask themselves how their agendas will play in Peoria, the next rough beast might slouch over the corpse of the republic.

I know. Two liberal cesspools.
You can rag on me for the rest of my life.
Americans today are a far cry from the patriots and hard laborers of the 1860’s. Men then would charge into battle. Today they would try to avoid it. Oh, I know you have a gun, and so do I. So what?
Logistics yesteryear were different. Can you imagine killing the opposition coming up yourr driveway? With your wife and kids in the back ground screaming up a storm? Short on food and water. No electricity.
Are you going to go out (how, in your car,) looking for battle?
Let’s pray Trump wins, and if so that the Stupid Party (Republicans) becomes the Smart Party, and resets our glorious Republic back on the tracks toward a free and prosperous country.
Then it was a stolen election and there will be blood shed and a civil war!
I don't have that good a memory! I sure hope you are right!
Given a government where the director of the FBI can give a speech detailing and enumerating Hillary’s wrongdoings, as to the laws involved, and then recommend “no prosecution”, do you think that the corrupt and elitist government will feel any obligation to honor such an election result?
______________
I do!
Agreed! Landslide!
I think he will landslide the general election, but the corruption will give Hildabeast the electoral votes.
Great article to rally the troops.
NOT.
“...in the end we will lick their boots, and accept whatever crumbs they choose to toss to us.”
That’s the fighting spirit.

No one was more surprised at Obama winning a second term than he himself. Did you know that he won every single vote in some parts of Pennsylvania?
Revolution
“I will be in rebellion.”
Until sovereign bankruptcy arrives, ala Venezuela or the Soviet Union, you will be mostly on your own. When Uncle Sam is revealed as a malfeasant bankrupt, you’ll find yourself awash in comrades.
The ‘rough beast’ won’t be standing over anything then - it will be carrying out the trash, and rebuilding something more like Sparta than the Nova Roma we endure presently.
Trump isn’t losing a damn thing. The apparatchiks of DC better make plans to get out.
Yes Romney, that includes you.
And would lose any claim to legitimacy in the process. We have to prepare for that eventuality, too.
At least start thinking about it.
You are correct.
Well said. A repudiation of the establishment eunuch chorus.
He hasnt lost yet.
But typixally a change agent fails in the first attempt. IE: Goldwater.
But the needed change comes- just at a greater cost.

You are quite correct that typically an effort fails before the reform comes. In our present circumstances though, I would say that Bush 2 was the failed change agent to turn back the Clinton decline. We were snookered. The 2010 elections were another example, with all those ‘Tea Party’ congress-beasts who faded as soon as they got in.
Trump loses only through fraud. Assassination is another great hazard, especially since Pence started regurgitating neocon dogma. I think Pence is an honorable individual, but rabid neocons of the ilk of McCain or Kristol would be happy to see Trump removed to install Pence. Media spins are already under way about how much better the ticket would be if reversed.
I think Trump will win, and he will need to watch his back like a Roman Caesar.
The only way he loses is massive voter fraud. I am hoping soros is crapping his pants trying to find enough fraud to get it done.
“Oh Made the mistake of turning on Levin between the gym and home....what an idiot carrying on how terrible the Trump choice is....Ugh!”
His bitter snarling has become the audial and intellectual equivalent to the reek of old, settled urine.
