A lot has been going on with Iran and this isnt clear. Did Ted vote to send them a ransom on pallets? I hadnt heard this. I'm not sure about the ransom thing, but I can prove that he's involved in Treason: here.

Not expected.
But not incredibly startling either.
Cruz is a Republican from a Republican state.
His differences with Trump were personal more than ideological, and a little gesture late in the campaign won't hurt him and will probably even help a little.

Not to be a curmudgeon, while I am very very happy that Cruz came out and said that he is voting for Trump, I watched the video with the thread, and even tho Cruz was calling from a GOP Trump/Pence call center, he did not mention either Trump or Pence in the video.
Red State headline would be more accurate if Cruz explicitly tells people to vote for Trump...not just to get out and vote.
Nonetheless, I am still very happy Cruz is supporting Trump.

Hes a rough-and-tumble kind of guy who is ready to shake hands. But I hope smart enough not to let the Cubadian stand behind him.

Cruz never said never Trump.
You’re thinking of Mittens and the Bushies.

Hes dead to me even if he personally assassinates the beast. I think he would literally be dead in that scenario.

Indeed. He knows which way the wind blows

Somebody on FR said this before me, and I agree. Ted Cruz would make an excellent Supreme Court justice. There, a keen conservative mind would be greatly appreciated, and a prickly personality would not be a hindrance.

I did!

Part of what these call centers do is call registered Republicans and encourage them to vote, because they already know who they’re likely to vote for. Not every call we were asked to make for McCain involved arguing his case. Get-out-the-vote effort was the name of the game. You also might start there, and only if the person objects try to argue the case for the candidate.
