Putting convicted criminals to death is an issue Sen. Tim Kaine said he had to “grapple” with when he served as governor of Virginia. Kaine chose the death penalty, not abortion, as the issue that posed the biggest conflict with his Roman Catholic faith.
“For me, the hardest struggle in my faith life was, the Catholic Church is against the death penalty and so am I,” Kaine said at Tuesday night’s debate. “But I was governor of a state, and the state law said that there was a death penalty for crimes if the jury determined them to be heinous. And so I had to grapple with that.” …

To me Kaine appeared to be really prepared for that question. Supposedly no one but the moderator was to know ahead of time what the questions would be. He was way too slick with his answer to this question.
His accent was particularly effeminate during the debate, I noticed.
Killing babies and making people who think it is a sin pay for it....no problem.

Kaine strikes me as a goofy weasel. Hard to believe these people get elected.

The lies and hypocrisy of this mutt are amazing. There is no Catholic Church doctrine versus the death penalty. The Church frowns on it but it is not a sin to advocate the death penalty. This slimy fake Catholic Democrat actually thought he would double talk actual Catholics with his fake piety about the death penalty when the real problem actual Catholics have with Kaine is his lust for murdering innocent babies via abortion.
